Facebook's global outage has been resolved and users were able to log back into their accounts at around 11:20 p.m. on March 5.
Currently, Meta and Facebook representatives have not announced the reason for this incident.
Previously, at around 10 p.m., Facebook and many other Meta social networking platforms suddenly encountered problems globally, leaving millions of users unable to log into the application.
According to India TV, not only Facebook, other social networks of Meta Group such as Instagram and WhatsApp also encountered similar situations at the same time.
Facebook crashed globally for about an hour.
According to many Facebook users in Vietnam, the logging out of this social network appeared on all mobile devices and computers on the evening of March 5.
Many users have tried to log back into their Facebook accounts but failed even though they entered the correct password. Changing the password also does not help users log back into Facebook.
Logging into Facebook through different devices also fails whether using mobile or computer.
Many Vietnamese users have started to switch to the Zalo messaging app when communication via Facebook and Messenger was disrupted. However, perhaps because of the surge in traffic at the same time, Zalo users also reported disruptions in sending messages on this app.
On the website reporting errors on platforms downdetector.com, the number of users reporting errors spiked at 10 p.m. Most users reported being unable to log in to Meta Group platforms such as Facebook, Messenger, etc.
