Using "golden" land in Bien Hoa to build resettlement areas

Báo Nhân dânBáo Nhân dân21/04/2024

NDO - Bien Hoa city (Dong Nai) has never implemented so many key infrastructure projects at the same time as it does now. In the process of implementing the projects, the locality must reclaim a large area of land from the people. Therefore, the demand for resettlement land is very large. To solve the difficulties in resettlement for the people, the authorities have proposed converting "golden" land to build resettlement areas.

Currently, in Bien Hoa city, there are 9 projects in the list of key projects of Dong Nai province being implemented, so the demand for resettlement plots is very large. According to the report, the whole city of Bien Hoa is lacking nearly 3,000 resettlement plots for people. Bien Hoa is also the locality with the highest resettlement debt in Dong Nai province.

The lack of resettlement areas to accommodate people whose land was recovered when implementing public investment projects in Bien Hoa city makes it difficult to mobilize people to hand over land.

Leaders of Dong Nai province and Long Thanh district performed the groundbreaking ceremony of Long Phuoc resettlement area.

In fact, recently, when implementing some projects, the issue of resettlement has not been mentioned. In many projects, after handing over the land, people have to temporarily stay. There are cases where the resettlement area has completed the infrastructure but it is not possible to let people draw lots for land locations because the construction area is not yet included in the land use plan.

Bien Hoa City Party Secretary Ho Van Nam said that local authorities and Party committees have identified resettlement for people as a key task when implementing projects, especially for key projects and works, resettlement must also be a key task.

There must be resettlement areas with full facilities to convince people to hand over the land early to implement projects. This is also a necessary condition to mobilize and convince people to hand over the land early, speeding up the construction progress of projects.

Using

Thong Nhat Bridge is the most important item of the Bien Hoa city central axis road project.

Currently, Bien Hoa city is implementing 22 projects to build resettlement areas to serve the resettlement of people whose land is recovered when implementing socio-economic development projects in the area. Of these, 5 resettlement areas are under construction.

Recently, Bien Hoa city leaders proposed suitable land plots to convert urban project land into resettlement areas, such as: Hang Dau land plot, Quyet Thang ward; Dong Tien Joint Stock Company land plot, Tan Tien ward; Buu Long Driving Test Center land plot, Buu Long ward.

Using

At land plot No. 71, cadastral map No. 18, Tan Tien ward, previously used by Dong Tien Joint Stock Company. The current status of this land plot is urban residential and commercial service land, recently included by Dong Nai Provincial Land Fund Development Center in the list of land plots expected to be auctioned for land use rights in 2024.

Using

The former land of Dong Tien Joint Stock Company located on the frontage of Phan Trung Street (also known as Old Road 5) has now been cleared. On April 18, electricity workers dismantled the transformer station from the above land to complete the relocation.

Using

Bien Hoa City proposed to remove the land previously used by Dong Tien Joint Stock Company from the list of land plots expected to be auctioned in 2024 to create a resettlement area for people whose land was recovered for the Dong Nai riverside road project, the central axis road of Bien Hoa city and some other projects.

Using

On April 18, electricity workers dismantled the transformer station at the old Dong Tien Joint Stock Company site to complete the handover of the site.

Using

The land area formerly belonging to the Oil Company, covering thousands of square meters on Ha Huy Giap Street, Quyet Thang Ward, has now been cleared. Bien Hoa City leaders have proposed that the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee convert the construction of a resettlement area on this "golden" land to serve the relocation of people to implement projects.

Using

This is a land plot located on two fronts of Huy Giap Street and Nguyen Thanh Phuong Street, only about 200m from Dong Nai River. If built as a resettlement area, it will attract people to live there, because this is considered one of the most prime land plots in Bien Hoa city today.

Using

Another land area proposed by Bien Hoa city leaders for resettlement is the location of the Driving Test Center in Buu Long ward. This is a fairly large land area, located next to Bien Hoa airport and Tran Bien Temple of Literature, with convenient transportation.

Using

Bien Hoa City leaders said that if resettlement areas are implemented in the above 3 land plots, there will be about 1,000 more resettlement plots for ongoing and upcoming projects. In addition, the demand for social housing and worker housing is very high. If these 3 land plots are added, many households who have to give up their land for projects will soon have stable housing.

Using

Bien Hoa City is adjusting the overall master plan until 2045. During the implementation process, the relevant authorities will consider favorable locations that are easily connected to the technical infrastructure and social infrastructure systems to plan and build additional resettlement areas. The ultimate goal is to ensure the rights of people who are relocated to implement the projects.
