Super yacht Le Jacques Cartier departed from Sihanoukville (Cambodia) and arrived at Duong Dong port, Phu Quoc city, Kien Giang province at 7:00 a.m. on February 22.
In Phu Quoc, tourists come to Ham Ninh fishing village to enjoy the specialties of the over 100-year-old fishing village, especially the famous Ham Ninh crab dish.
After that, the group visited Phu Quoc prison relic; went to Ho Quoc pagoda... In the afternoon of the same day, the group returned to the cruise ship, moving to Con Dao and Ho Chi Minh City.
Super cruise ship Costa Serena brought international visitors to Phu Quoc twice in mid-2023 and early 2024.
Mr. Huynh Thanh Binh, Head of Operations of the superyacht Le Jacques Cartier, said that in the coming time, there will be many French cruise ships bringing tourists to Phu Quoc. It is expected that from now until the end of 2024, there will be 2 more luxury cruise ships carrying French tourists to Phu Quoc.
According to Chairman of Phu Quoc City People's Committee Huynh Quang Hung, in addition to air and high-speed train routes, many international tourists come to Phu Quoc by sea cruise ships.

"The locality has high expectations for cruise and cruise tourism in the new year 2024 from Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and some European countries. Phu Quoc International Passenger Port has been completing many items and is expected to be announced for temporary operation in 2024 to welcome international tourists by sea," said Mr. Hung.
In 2023 and early 2024, the "pearl island" Phu Quoc welcomed 3 super cruise ships and 1 international super yacht.
Of which, the Italian 5-star super cruise ship Costa Serena twice brought more than 3,100 tourists from more than 20 countries in Southeast Asia, Europe, Central America... to explore Phu Quoc on May 21, 2013 and February 2, 2024.
On February 9, another 5-star Italian cruise ship, the Aida Bella, carrying nearly 2,000 European tourists arrived in Phu Quoc at 8:00 a.m. and left the island at 7:00 p.m. the same day.
