Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, Vo Tan Duc, has just signed and issued Decision No. 342/QD-UBND on the auction of land use rights of the 55.9-hectare Long Giao Industrial Cluster in Long Giao town and Xuan Duong commune, Cam My district.

Of the total area of 55.9 hectares, nearly 39 hectares of land will be auctioned. The remaining 16.9 hectares of land for traffic and green parks will not be auctioned.

Currently, the land has been planned as industrial park land with connecting roads, electricity and water infrastructure to the land boundary.

The current form of land use is that the State leases land with a one-time payment through land use rights auction for the entire lease period of 50 years.

The starting price offered by the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee for the auction of the Long Giao Industrial Park land is more than 788 billion VND.

The auction is held when 2 or more people register to participate in the auction, by voting directly at the auction. The maximum number of auction rounds is 5 rounds, according to the ascending price method.

The auction winner does not have to pay land rent for the area of 16.9 hectares because this area is for traffic and green space.

Upon winning the auction, the owner will be able to use the land for 50 years from the date the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee issues a decision recognizing the auction results of land use rights.

Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee assigned Dong Nai Land Fund Development Center as the agency to organize the auction of the land. The Center is responsible for establishing procedures to select an organization to conduct the auction of land use rights.
