According to local leaders, the land acquisition dossiers for the expressway project are still slow. Currently, nearly 350 households have agreed to hand over their land for the project.
On March 11, according to Giao Thong Newspaper, the authorities in Bien Hoa City (Dong Nai) are continuing to propagate and mobilize people to hand over land in Phuoc Tan Ward and Tam Phuoc Ward. Currently, nearly 350 households have agreed to hand over land, dismantle construction works and hand over land to the project.
The Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway's first section has a more favorable basic surface than 1 month ago.
Of which, 170 households in Tam Phuoc ward agreed to hand over the land, only 7 households are subject to compulsory eviction.
In Phuoc Tan ward, there are still many households that have not agreed to hand over the land. These cases, after review, are mostly households that bought land with handwritten papers and illegally built houses on agricultural land that are subject to compulsory eviction records.
Mr. Ho Van Nam, Secretary of Bien Hoa City Party Committee, said that there is a delay in processing the files of forced land handover. Up to now, the number of forced files carried out by the Provincial Land Fund Development Center according to the procedure to transfer to the City People's Committee to sign the forced decision is slow in time and small in number.
Among the more than 40 files sent to the Bien Hoa City People's Committee, many files did not have enough content according to regulations, so they had to be returned for additional information to extend the time. Currently, the Bien Hoa City People's Committee has only signed decisions to enforce 7 more cases, which are expected to be implemented on March 13.
Faced with this delay, Bien Hoa City leaders requested the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to mobilize staff and specialists in charge of professional matters to review and consolidate all files that have not yet handed over the site to put them under enforcement, determined to hand over the site in March.
Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Phase 1 has a total project length of about 53.7km. Of which, the section through Dong Nai province is about 34.2km; Ba Ria - Vung Tau province is about 19.5km.
Phase 1 scale is from 4-6 lanes, the completed expansion phase ensures the scale of 6-8 lanes. Preliminary total investment is 17,837 billion VND.
Currently, the progress of component 1 and component 2 projects through Dong Nai is only over 20-30% of output. The section through Ba Ria - Vung Tau alone is over 74%.
