On February 26, the Provincial Party Standing Committee held a conference to announce the opinion of the Secretariat agreeing that comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Quang Ninh province, ceased to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, ceased to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Quang Ninh province. Attending the conference were comrades: Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee and comrades Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee.
On January 24, 2025, the Politburo issued Decision No. 1893-QDNS/TW on appointing comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Quang Ninh province to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
On February 20, 2025, the Central Party Office issued Official Dispatch No. 13477-CV/VPTW informing the opinion of the Secretariat agreeing that Comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Quang Ninh province, ceases to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, ceases to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Quang Ninh province.
Speaking at the conference, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, congratulated Comrade Dang Xuan Phuong on being appointed by the Politburo and the Secretariat to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee. This demonstrates the trust of the Politburo and the Secretariat in the province's personnel work as well as recognition of Comrade Dang Xuan Phuong's efforts during his work.
The Provincial Party Secretary also expressed his appreciation for the contributions of Comrade Dang Xuan Phuong to Quang Ninh province during his tenure as Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation. At the same time, he wished that in his new position, he would continue to successfully complete all tasks and pay attention to and support the activities of Quang Ninh province.
Comrade Dang Xuan Phuong holds the position of Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term from August 2023, and holds the position of Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Quang Ninh province from January 2024. Comrade Dang Xuan Phuong is a leader with strong political will, good moral qualities; deep professional capacity in scientific research and law-making; has the capacity to concretize and lead, direct, and effectively organize the implementation of the Party's guidelines, policies, and laws of the State; regularly seeks to innovate working methods; always excellently fulfills the assigned responsibilities and tasks in all positions and jobs he has held. He has been trusted by the Politburo and appointed to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term.
