(HBĐT) - Comrade Bui Kim Thanh, former Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, has said goodbye to this world and entered the eternal world, leaving deep sorrow for his family, relatives and friends; leaving deep and good impressions in the memories of cadres, party members and people about an exemplary party member with enthusiasm, striving to fulfill his duties and tasks, and being the pride of his family and society.
Comrade Bui Duc Hinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, awarded the 60-year Party membership badge (2022) to Comrade Bui Kim Thanh, former Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Comrade Bui Kim Thanh was born on July 16, 1932, in Hung Son commune (Kim Boi), a hometown rich in revolutionary traditions. He spent his childhood in poverty and hardship. The tradition of his hometown has fostered and shaped his thoughts of freedom and a renewed life when many localities and revolutionary movements were formed and developed. Throughout his career, Comrade Bui Kim Thanh has always strived to improve himself and excellently completed all tasks assigned by the organization.
In 1950, he left to work in the treasury department of the bank. At the end of 1952, he returned to Hoa Binh to collect agricultural taxes. He completed this task well, so the province kept him. After that, the State sent him to study culture and professional skills in Zone 4, from secondary school to high school, then returned to Hoa Binh to work. At the end of 1955, he was sent to study the first course of the National Economics School. In 1956, he was honored to be admitted to the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. In 1958, he returned to work at the Hoa Binh Provincial Bank. This was the time when comrade Bui Kim Thanh strived, holding many positions: Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union, Vice Chairman of the Trade Union and Deputy Head of the unit's Militia and Self-Defense Platoon. At that time, none of the bank's youth were party members. The bank's apparatus had 7 departments, only 4 department heads were party members. Striving enthusiastically, in 1959, he was elected as an active youth of Hoa Binh province, the only person from the agency to attend the Provincial Youth Union Congress and the only youth from the bank to gain the sympathy of the Party.
In early 1960, he was assigned to be the head of Mai Chau District Bank, and at the end of the year, he was transferred to be in charge of Tan Lac District Bank. During this time, he continuously strived, was recognized as an emulation fighter at all levels, and received certificates of merit from the Minister of Banking and the Provincial Chairman. In 1963, he was officially admitted to the Party. To meet the requirements of the job, he applied to study at the Banking University and was accepted. After 2 years of study, he graduated with honors, ranked second in the class of about 100 people, and returned to his hometown to continue working at Hoa Binh Bank, taking on the position of Director of Ky Son Bank, doing a good job in regulating and borrowing capital to develop local production.
When the province established the 19/5 School (Kim Boi), he was assigned to be the Vice Principal in charge of production organization. In 1973, he was appointed as the Director of the school. In 1974, the Ministry of Education inspected the work-study activities, the school was highly appreciated, and he was appointed as the Deputy Head of the Education Department of Hoa Binh province. To meet the requirements of the new work, he was sent to study at the Nguyen Ai Quoc Party School for the 1979-1980 course, then returned to continue working as the Deputy Head of the Education Department. When the Central Government had a policy to establish a university, he was appointed by the Provincial Chairman as Head of the Education Department of the Provincial People's Committee, under the Ministry of Universities. He was then appointed as Secretary of the Kim Boi District Party Committee. In early 1991, the province was re-established, the Provincial Party Committee of Ha Son Binh introduced comrade Bui Kim Thanh as Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee (term 1989-1994), in charge of the economic sector; former member of the Provisional Executive Committee of the Provincial Military Party Committee (1991-1992), at the end of 1993 he retired according to the regime.
During his career, through many important positions and responsibilities, Comrade Bui Kim Thanh always maintained his political stance and ideological stance, was a pioneering and exemplary Party member, excellently completed all assigned tasks, was always an example of tireless striving and training, devoted to the revolutionary cause and was a spiritual encouragement for his descendants to follow. Comrade Bui Kim Thanh was honored to receive many noble awards such as: First-class Resistance War Medal against the French; First-class Anti-American National Salvation Medal; Third-class Labor Medal; 60-year Party membership badge; 04 certificates of merit from the Administrative Committee + People's Committee of Hoa Binh province; 01 certificate of merit from the Governor of the State Bank; 02 certificates of merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association of Former Teachers; Emulation Fighter Badge in 1962 and many other noble awards...
Comrade Bui Kim Thanh has entered the eternal world, leaving behind endless regret and longing for his family, relatives, friends, local Party Committee and government for a cadre and Party member who fought for the Party his whole life, always steadfast in his chosen ideals, striving, sacrificing, overcoming difficulties and challenges, and completing his tasks well.
