In early February, Mr. To Thai Hung, a travel blogger from Ho Chi Minh City, started the "Ha Giang passport" project. The project received support and coordination from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Giang province.
The "passport" is sold at the ice cream counter at the Km0 milestone in Ha Giang for 30,000 VND/book. In the "passport" there will be a list of travel experiences to try in Ha Giang and notes when traveling here.
In particular, the "passport" will have a list of 15 popular tourist destinations in Ha Giang and each destination will have a stamp. Tourists will receive a stamp for each destination they visit. This is a completely new way of "checking in", making many tourists curious.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Quoc (18 years old, from Binh Duong) had interesting experiences when traveling to Ha Giang for the first time. Mr. Quoc said that on the occasion of the Lunar New Year At Ty, he traveled to Ha Giang and "hunted" for 8 stamps in his "passport".
According to Mr. Quoc, the stamp that left the most emotions for him was the stamp stamped by the soldiers. "Having the soldiers stamp my stamp was a very meaningful experience, making me love my homeland and country even more, especially when standing at the border of the Fatherland," Mr. Quoc said.

Sharing with VietNamNet reporter, Mr. To Thai Hung said: The first passport was issued by his group on February 1. After nearly 1 month of implementation, the project has received great support from the tourist community both at home and abroad.
According to Mr. Hung, the most important thing in implementing the project is to contribute to bringing excitement and enjoyment to tourists when experiencing this meaningful form of memory preservation.
According to him, the tourist destinations in the "Ha Giang passport" are not only beautiful coordinates for taking photos but also represent the cultural values, landscapes and typical specialties of Ha Giang.
Each destination is carefully selected, carrying a complete story about that land, from majestic mountain passes, traditional villages to specialties with strong local flavors.
Talking about the reason for carrying out this special project, Mr. Hung said that he himself is a passionate traveler, fortunate to have set foot in many lands and in each place he has typical souvenirs to remember the places he has been to.
"I always love the feeling of getting an immigration stamp when crossing the border of a new country, each stamp seems to tell a travel story of my own."

Therefore, he wants to contribute a little effort to build a unique identity for local tourism, stimulate tourists to explore more, connect destinations in an interesting way and personalize each person's experience.
Mr. Hung shared that the "passport" is also a way for Ha Giang to make a difference, helping this land to be deeply imprinted in the minds of tourists, encouraging them to come back, share and spread love for this place.
