Provincial Party Secretary Truong Quoc Huy works with the delegation of Bach Mai Hospital

On the afternoon of March 19, Mr. Truong Quoc Huy, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province received and worked with the delegation of Bach Mai Hospital and Hanoi University of Transport on the implementation of projects to build training facilities in Ha Nam. Attending the meeting were Mr. Tran Xuan Duong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Department of Construction, Department of Finance, Nam Cao University Management Board, Provincial People's Committee Office; representatives of Sun Group Corporation.

At the meeting, Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Xuan Co, Director of Bach Mai Hospital, said: The project of Bach Mai Hospital, branch 2 in Ha Nam, is being strongly directed by the Government to remove obstacles and speed up progress to soon put into operation. As expected, with a scale of 1,000 beds, Bach Mai Hospital, branch 2 in Ha Nam will receive medical examination and treatment for 20 million people from Ha Tinh area and beyond, contributing to reducing the burden on branch 1 in Hanoi. The hospital leaders pledged to build Bach Mai Hospital, branch 2 in Ha Nam in the direction of a smart hospital, becoming the leading medical center in the region. Therefore, to meet the training and practice needs of medical human resources, the hospital leaders proposed to build Bach Mai University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ha Nam, moving towards a model of a multidisciplinary health university with specialized training on an area of about 28 hectares at Nam Cao University Area, attracting 5,000 -7,000 students.

Also at the meeting, the leaders of Hanoi University of Transport proposed to implement the investment project to build the Hanoi University of Transport with an area of about 30 hectares at Nam Cao University Area.

Based on the proposals of the two units, Comrade Truong Quoc Huy, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation thanked the leaders of Bach Mai Hospital and Hanoi University of Transport for their attention to investing in training facilities in Ha Nam, contributing to improving the quality of training high-quality human resources in the province, gradually realizing the orientation of making Ha Nam a university training center in the future, a high-quality medical service center of the whole country.

The Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee agreed with the proposal of the leaders of Bach Mai Hospital, assigning relevant departments and branches to support and create the most favorable conditions for the project to be implemented soon; in which, attention should be paid to site clearance work; construction of social housing areas to create stable accommodation for medical staff; entertainment and resort areas; dormitories for students... In the immediate future, Ha Nam directed relevant departments, branches and units to carry out necessary legal procedures, including investment incentives: support for compensation for site clearance, exemption of land rent for 50 years, timely removal of difficulties and obstacles so that the project can be implemented soon in practice.

For the Project of University of Transport, Campus 2, Ha Nam commits to accompany and implement investment incentive policies so that the project can quickly complete procedures and implement construction according to plan.
