On the morning of February 23, Tam Chung Border Guard Station coordinated with local authorities and the "Giving and Receiving Love" group to inaugurate and hand over the "Border Shelter" to a family in especially difficult circumstances in Tam Chung commune (Muong Lat).

Representatives of the Provincial Border Guard Command, Muong Lat district, Tam Chung Border Guard Station and local authorities handed over the "Border Shelter" to Mr. Giang A Chia's family in On village, Tam Chung commune.

Attending the event were Colonel Nguyen Van Dong, Deputy Chief of the Provincial Border Guard; leaders of Muong Lat district; officers and soldiers of Tam Chung Border Guard Station and people of On village, Tam Chung commune.

Mr. Giang A Chia's family in On village has a particularly difficult situation. He is also a person who participates in protecting the border line and landmark 270. After more than 3 months of construction, the house has now been completed and put into use. The house is designed in the traditional style of the Mong ethnic group, with a construction area of ​​80m2 and a 3-room design.

The construction cost comes from the unit's contribution and the mobilization from the volunteer group "Giving and Receiving Love" with the amount of 60 million VND and the construction cost of officers and soldiers of Tam Chung Border Post is about 40 million VND.

With the strong direction of the unit's command board and the efforts and high sense of responsibility of the officers and soldiers of Tam Chung Border Post and Mr. Giang A Chia's family, the house was completed on schedule, meeting technical and aesthetic requirements, sustainability, and reasonableness, meeting the family's needs.

Speaking at the house donation ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Van Dong, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard, emphasized: The donation of another “Border Warm House” is a further motivation to help people in difficult circumstances rise up in life, feel secure with the Border Guard force to firmly protect the national border security and sovereignty. More specifically, the project also demonstrates the affection and responsibility of the Border Guard as well as agencies, units, and philanthropists joining hands for the poor, leaving no one behind.

At the same time, the Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard also congratulated Mr. Giang A Chia's family on having a new, solid, spacious and more complete house and thanked the sponsors for accompanying the Border Guard in supporting border residents to stabilize their lives. In the coming time, he hoped that agencies, units and sponsors would continue to work with the Border Guard in implementing programs and models to support and help people eliminate hunger, reduce poverty, and develop the economy and society in border areas.
