According to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), the Vietnamese futsal team has arrived in Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia), familiarizing themselves with the Buyant Ukhaa stadium and preparing for the opening match in Group D of the 2024 Asian Futsal Championship qualifiers.
"On October 6, the Vietnamese futsal team had a training session to get acquainted with the Buyant Ukhaa field, where matches in Group D of the 2024 Asian Futsal Championship qualifiers will take place. Coach Diego Giustozzi and his team are actively completing the final preparations for the opening match against the host team Mongolia on October 7," said VFF.

"Team leader Tran Anh Minh said that the playing floor of Buyant Ukhaa Stadium is paved with wood so it is quite slippery, the speed of the ball rolling is also faster and significantly affects the ball control and finishing of the players. However, with careful preparation and high determination, the whole team is ready to aim for victory," VFF quoted Mr. Tran Anh Minh from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
Also according to VFF, on the afternoon of October 6, the Vietnam futsal team will send a representative to attend a technical meeting while head coach Diego Giuztozzi and a player will attend a press conference at the Corporate Hotel. This is also the location where the Vietnam futsal team will be stationed during the qualifying round of the 2024 Asian futsal tournament.
