Khanh Hoa tourism revenue estimated at 756.3 billion
Khanh Hoa tops the list of visitors and tourism revenue in the South Central Coast provinces. The total number of visitors to Khanh Hoa for sightseeing and relaxation reached 578,219. Of which, 175,218 were overnight guests, with 45,168 international visitors and 130,050 domestic visitors. Revenue is estimated at 756.3 billion.
The average room occupancy rate of accommodation establishments is about 70.86%, mainly in tourist areas such as Bai Dai, Doc Let and closed resorts on the islands. Particularly, the central area of Nha Trang city has an average occupancy rate of about 60% or more (mainly focusing on the 3-5 star segment and equivalent).
On September 3, Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh, Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, said that the number of visitors to Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa during the National Day holiday on September 2 this year tends to increase slightly, not dramatically, mainly concentrated on the 3 days of August 31, September 1 and September 2.
“The 4-day National Day holiday on September 2nd with beautiful, cool weather creates favorable conditions for people to go sightseeing and travel to close out the summer and create excitement for children to prepare for the new school year. However, because many families and companies have traveled during the summer months and the National Day on September 2nd is close to the school start date for students at all levels, the number of visitors to Khanh Hoa only increased slightly,” Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh informed.
Binh Dinh estimated revenue of 555 billion VND
Ranked 2nd in the South Central Coast region, the number of tourists to Binh Dinh is estimated at 204,044, up 13% over the same period last year. Revenue from tourists is estimated at 555 billion VND, up 0.8% over the same period in 2023.
The total number of tourist accommodation arrivals is estimated at 96,000, up 0.4% over the same period last year. Room occupancy at tourist accommodation establishments from September 31 to 2, 2024 averaged 75%.
The tourist market flocking to the coastal land of Binh Dinh is mainly domestic tourists from major provinces, cities and tourist centers: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, the Mekong Delta provinces and the Central Highlands provinces, etc.
Mr. Tran Van Thanh, Director of Binh Dinh Department of Tourism, said that although the weather in the province was very nice on the occasion of National Day on September 2, it was close to the school start date for students at all levels, so the number of visitors to Binh Dinh tended to increase slightly compared to last year.
Binh Thuan: About 510 billion VND
According to the report of Binh Thuan Department of Tourism, the total number of tourists visiting and staying in the province during the September 2 holiday is about 385,000, 3.3 times higher than in 2023, of which international visitors are about 9,700, with revenue of about 510 billion VND.
During the holidays, the number of guests concentrated on August 31, September 1 and September 2, the average room occupancy rate reached 80 - 95%, in which many establishments reached 100% occupancy.
Domestic tourists to Binh Thuan province mostly come from Ho Chi Minh City, Lam Dong, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, the Southern provinces, some Northern provinces... concentrated in the areas of Ham Tien, Mui Ne, Tien Thanh, Tuy Phong, Ham Thuan Nam, La Gi, Phu Quy (Binh Thuan province).
Phu Yen: 93 billion VND
For Phu Yen province, the number of tourists coming during the 4-day National Day holiday on September 2 did not increase dramatically, reaching 46,500, up 10% over the same period last year; including 520 international visitors. The above number doubled compared to the same period last year.
The total number of guests staying reached 27,700, up 16% over the same period last year; including 380 international guests, up 81% over the same period last year. The average room occupancy rate was about 60%, with some large-scale hotels and hotels near the sea reaching about 80-100%.
The number of visitors to the special national relic Ganh Da Dia, the special national relic Thap Nhan and Bai Mon - Mui Dai Lanh scenic spot in 4 days reached 14,475.
Total revenue from tourists reached VND93 billion, up 46% over the same period last year, of which accommodation revenue reached VND16.6 billion, up 39% over the same period last year.
Ninh Thuan estimated revenue of 90 billion VND
The last place is Ninh Thuan province, because the rainy weather during the holidays affects tourism, entertainment and recreation activities. However, most visitors book rooms 1 month in advance. This year, with about 4,706 bedrooms, accommodation facilities all reached 90-100% occupancy on August 31 and September 1.
The total number of visitors and vacationers in Ninh Thuan during the September 2 holiday is estimated at 75,000, an increase of 15.4% over the same period last year (International visitors are estimated at 900, an increase of 28.6%), with estimated revenue of 90 billion VND.
The total number of tourists visiting and relaxing during the September 2nd holiday in coastal areas such as Binh Son - Ninh Chu, Vinh Hy, Ca Na... is estimated to reach 70-100%, other accommodation facilities have room occupancy rates of 50-70%.
Ninh Thuan province had predicted a sudden increase in the number of visitors to the area before, but it was still the same as the provinces of Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa...
