Achieved tourism revenue of over 123 billion VND during the September 2 holiday

Accordingly, to ensure that tourists and residents can enjoy the holiday with peace of mind, localities in the province have arranged police and militia forces to protect security and order at tourist attractions and historical sites. Along the coast, the Management Boards of tourist areas in districts and cities have assigned forces to be on duty, ensuring security and order, and safety for tourists to enjoy swimming in the sea.

Localities have implemented well the work of ensuring security and order.

Mr. Trinh Hang, Director of the Department of Tourism of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, said that by the end of September 2, the total number of visitors for tourism, entertainment, and accommodation at hotels, tourist areas, and beaches in the province reached about 207,000, an increase of 13.72% over the same period in 2023; revenue reached about 123,543 billion VND, an increase of 16.56% over the same period in 2023.

The management boards of tourist areas in districts and cities regularly inspect and urge the maintenance of environmental hygiene at tourist areas and spots, ensuring environmental hygiene and safety, clean and airy beaches.

The work of cleaning the beach environment is relatively clean, the tourist areas are fully equipped with small trash cans at the umbrella and chair clusters for visitors to throw trash and quickly collect and transport trash in time to avoid garbage accumulation.

Music events also attract large numbers of tourists.

During the day, the entire Ba Ria-Vung Tau province received support via phone from more than 480 visitors; supported 26 cases of lost children to find their relatives; and searched for 33 cases of lost documents.
