On the afternoon of March 21, in Hanoi, the University of Economics, Vietnam National University, Hanoi organized a workshop on "Business model accompanying the training of economic development students", marking an important step forward in the training strategy linking academia and practice.

The cooperation aims to support training, internships, and recruitment, helping students not only access theory but also have the opportunity to experience reality during their studies; building training programs that meet market needs.
Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen An Thinh, Head of the Faculty of Development Economics, emphasized that the training program at the University of Economics, Vietnam National University, Hanoi is increasingly moving towards high applicability, internationalization and innovation. The goal of the program is not only to provide professional knowledge, the program also focuses on training practical skills such as: Application of data technology in economics; Business administration and circular economy; Critical thinking and skills to solve practical problems.
The Head of the Faculty of Development Economics affirmed: “We want to build a model where students are not only learners but also participants in the process of innovation and development with businesses. The school not only trains but also helps students to adapt to the labor market immediately after graduation.”
To achieve the above goals, the program focuses on three core pillars: Strengthening cooperation between businesses and schools. Accordingly, businesses participate in the design process, teaching, career orientation, and practical training support.
Promoting research and development, students not only do internships but also participate in innovative projects, helping them to have the ability to conduct applied research in the business environment; at the same time, improving career readiness, through scholarship, internship and career guidance programs, students are fully equipped with skills to enter the labor market with a high competitive advantage.
At the workshop, the speakers also emphasized that the most important goal of the program is not only to solve the problem of training - internship - recruitment but also to build a long-term cooperation ecosystem between businesses and universities.
