Delegates attending the 16th Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front offered incense at Uncle Ho's Memorial House and the Monument to Heroes and Martyrs.

On the eve of the 16th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) of Lao Cai province for the 2024-2029 term, on the morning of July 15, the delegation attending the 16th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lao Cai province, led by Comrade Giang Seo Van, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, offered flowers and incense at Uncle Ho's Memorial House and the Monument to the heroic martyrs of the province.

Also participating in the delegation were representatives of the Standing Committee of the People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, leaders of advisory agencies assisting the Provincial Party Committee and 40 delegates representing 315 delegates representing the great solidarity bloc of ethnic groups, religions and people of all walks of life in the province to attend the congress.

In the emotion, remembering the beloved President Ho Chi Minh, the heroic martyrs, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Giang Seo Van province and delegates respectfully offered incense to express their infinite gratitude for the great contributions of Uncle Ho and the sacrifices of the heroic martyrs in the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party, the country and the homeland of Lao Cai.

The delegation observed a minute of silence to commemorate Uncle Ho's merits.

The delegation reported to Uncle Ho on the achievements, especially the results of the work of the Front from the province to the grassroots level in the 2019-2024 term. Accordingly, thoroughly grasping the viewpoints and policies of the Party and the Vietnam Fatherland Front on building and promoting the tradition of great national unity, over the past 5 years, under the close leadership of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Standing Committee of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province has closely coordinated with member organizations, synchronously and effectively deployed solutions to strengthen and consolidate the great national unity bloc; mobilized the people to join hands and actively participate in effectively implementing emulation movements, making an important contribution to the overall development of Lao Cai province.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels has strongly innovated the content and methods of operation; improved the quality of information and propaganda; diversified forms of mobilizing and gathering the people; actively carried out social supervision and criticism, and contributed ideas to Party and government building.

Campaigns launched by the Front, activities for the poor, relief and social security have been effectively implemented; the Front's organizational structure and specialized staff have been consolidated and improved; qualifications and capacity have been constantly improved.
The great national unity bloc has been strengthened; the sense of responsibility and creativity of the people has been promoted; people's opinions have been respected, creating social consensus for the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws. The position and role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front have been increasingly affirmed in the political system and social life. People's lives have been constantly improved and enhanced; national defense and security have been maintained; Lao Cai province is developing to become increasingly rich, beautiful and civilized.

With determination and continuous efforts, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province is honored to receive the Emulation Flag and Certificate of Merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front every year; many collectives and individuals have been awarded many noble forms at all levels.

Before the spirit of the great President Ho Chi Minh, the heroic martyrs, the delegates attending the congress promised to unite, join hands, and be of one mind with the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Creativity - Development" to successfully organize the 16th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lao Cai province, term 2024 - 2029; promote the strength of the great national unity bloc; uphold the tradition of solidarity, promote the spirit of self-reliance, make the most of the attention and support of the Central Government and external resources to resolutely fulfill the tasks of 2024 - the year of accelerating and breaking through to reach the finish line in implementing the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the term 2020 - 2025, building Lao Cai to be increasingly prosperous and happy.
