NDO - At the invitation of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, a delegation of our Party led by Comrade Phan Dinh Trac, Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, visited and worked in China from November 11 to 15, 2024.
In Beijing, Comrade Phan Dinh Trac and the delegation met with Comrade Li Xi, member of the Politburo Standing Committee, Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China; held talks with Comrade Tran Van Thanh, member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Secretariat, Secretary of the Central Political and Legal Commission of the Communist Party of China; and worked with leaders of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission of China.
At the high-level meetings, Comrade Phan Dinh Trac respectfully conveyed the greetings of General Secretary To Lam, President Luong Cuong and other key Vietnamese leaders to General Secretary and President Xi Jinping and other senior Chinese leaders; congratulated China on the important achievements it has made in the 75 years of building and developing the People's Republic of China and since the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
Comrade Phan Dinh Trac emphasized that the Party, State and People of Vietnam always appreciate the valuable assistance of the Party, State and People of China in historical periods. On the basis of the foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, multilateralization and diversification, Vietnam attaches importance and gives top priority to working with China to further strengthen the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership, promote the building of a Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future with strategic significance according to the motto of "16 words", the spirit of "4 goods" and the direction of "6 more", bringing many practical benefits to the people of the two countries, contributing to peace, stability and development of the region and the world.
Comrade Li Xi conveyed the greetings of General Secretary and President Xi Jinping to General Secretary To Lam, President Luong Cuong and other senior leaders of Vietnam; highly appreciated the significance of the visit to China by the delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam; congratulated the important results of Vietnam's socio-economic development in recent times; expressed confidence and affirmed support for Vietnam under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam headed by General Secretary To Lam, to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Congress and successfully organize the 14th National Party Congress.
The senior Chinese leaders affirmed that the Chinese Party and State always consider relations with Vietnam a priority direction in its neighborly diplomacy; and are ready to work with the Vietnamese Party and State to promote the building of the China-Vietnam Community of Shared Future of strategic significance to continuously develop to new heights, becoming increasingly substantive and effective.
During the talks and meetings, the leaders of the two sides emphasized the special importance of bilateral visits by the top leaders of the two Parties and two countries, most recently the very successful visit to China by General Secretary To Lam; highly appreciated the important, substantive and comprehensive developments in the relations between the two Parties and two countries in all fields, especially the regular high-level exchanges, breakthrough growth in economic, trade and investment cooperation, vibrant tourism cooperation and people-to-people exchanges, promoting the development of Vietnam-China relations to new heights.
Affirming that the relationship between the two Parties is an important foundation for the overall strategic orientation of the two countries' relations, the leaders of the two sides discussed in depth the direction of promoting the Vietnam-China relationship in the coming time, contributing to effectively implementing the common perception between the two General Secretaries of the two Parties. The two sides agreed to enhance political trust through regular high-level exchanges and contacts, strengthen cooperation through Party channels; promote bilateral cooperation in increasingly effective, substantive, profound, balanced and sustainable areas, better meeting the interests of the people of the two countries; coordinate more closely on regional and international issues; well organize the "Vietnam-China Humanitarian Exchange Year 2025" on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, enhance people-to-people exchanges, and consolidate the social foundation for the development of Vietnam-China relations; Together maintain peace and stability at sea, better control and resolve disagreements on the basis of high-level common perceptions and international law.
The two sides shared the results and experiences, and effective practices of the two Parties in Party building, inspection, supervision, anti-corruption, waste, negativity prevention and judicial reform; highly appreciated the good cooperation results between the Central Internal Affairs Commission of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Central Political and Legal Commission, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and internal affairs agencies of China; and at the same time identified directions for cooperation between the internal affairs and legal agencies of the two Parties in the coming period.
During their stay in Beijing, Comrade Phan Dinh Trac and the delegation visited and worked with the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in China. The delegation also visited the Museum of the History of the Communist Party of China and the Xiong'an New Area, which are typical locations reflecting the formation and development of the Communist Party of China and the orientation of high-quality development and modernization of China today.
In the following days, the Delegation will visit and work in Fujian province.
