The Central delegation of the Vietnam Farmers' Union worked in Kim Phu commune.
After more than 10 years of implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, Kim Phu commune was recognized as meeting new rural standards in 2017 and meeting advanced new rural criteria in 2023.
Infrastructure has been invested and developed to meet production and people's needs. Agricultural production has grown quite well. The structure of agriculture and rural economy has changed in a positive direction. The output and quality of agricultural products have increased every year.
Up to now, the commune has 5 OCOP products, of which 3 OCOP products have achieved 4 stars, 2 products have achieved 3 stars; average income per capita has reached over 57 million VND/person/year...
Clearly identifying the role of members and farmers in building new rural areas, the Commune Farmers' Association coordinates with units to promote propaganda to all cadres and members about the Party and State's policies and guidelines on building new rural areas; mobilizing cadres and members to participate in socio-economic development, building rural infrastructure, and practicing a civilized lifestyle.
The Central delegation of the Vietnam Farmers' Union visited the Chien Thang snail sausage production facility, village 22, Kim Phu commune (Tuyen Quang city).
Thereby, the awareness of cadres and members about new rural construction work is increasingly raised, and farmer members actively participate in the new rural construction movement.
Comrade Nguyen Lam Hong, Deputy Head of the Central Economic Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, highly appreciated the achievements of Kim Phu commune in building new rural areas, especially the activities of the Commune Farmers' Union that have contributed to building new rural areas and advanced new rural areas.
The opinions and proposals at the conference were summarized and reported to the Standing Committee of the Association for further resolution. He also hoped that in the coming time, the Kim Phu Commune Farmers' Association would continue to promote its role as an organization in promoting and mobilizing members to participate in building a more comprehensive new rural area, towards a model new rural commune.
Before that, the delegation visited and surveyed some typical models of the commune, such as: Guava growing model in village 20, Chien Thang snail sausage production facility in village 22, and visited the canal system in village 13.
