Speaking at the workshop, Standing Deputy Secretary of Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee Ta Van Long affirmed: Over the years, the Party committees and authorities of Yen Bai province have always paid attention to leading, directing and creating conditions for the development of the press in the area. The team of journalists in the province has increasingly matured, contributing positively to the overall development of the province. Every year, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee organizes meetings to encourage press agencies and propagate on the occasion of the New Year; the Provincial People's Committee organizes meetings with the press on the occasion of the anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day; periodically organizes monthly press meetings, proactively orients, provides regular or ad hoc two-way information to the press.

The scientific workshop "Promoting the role of the press and media in building the Party on ethics" is a scientific activity of practical political significance, carefully prepared with the participation of many experts and scientists. This is a very good opportunity for press and media agencies and reporters and journalists of the province to exchange and learn from journalism experiences in general, and experiences in promoting the role of the press in building the Party on ethics in particular.
At the workshop, Professor, Dr. Le Van Loi, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, emphasized that press and media agencies have made efforts to perform well their roles in propagating and educating Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh's thought; the Party's guidelines and viewpoints, and the State's policies and laws. At the same time, they have actively fought against and refuted distorted, erroneous, and hostile viewpoints and arguments; and promoted their roles in participating in monitoring, detecting, and criticizing negative, anti-cultural, and anti-ethical manifestations within the Party by cadres and Party members.
The Organizing Committee received 46 high-quality presentations from scientists, researchers, and press management officials from the central and local levels.
At the workshop, delegates focused on discussing the following contents: General theoretical issues on ethics in the Party; Ho Chi Minh's thought and the Party's viewpoint on Party building in terms of ethics; the viewpoints of the Party and the State on promoting the role of press and media agencies in contributing to Party building in terms of ethics today; recognizing, analyzing and further evaluating the achievements and limitations and shortcomings to promptly have solutions to further promote the role and strength of press and propaganda agencies in the current situation...

The workshop is an opportunity for scientists, researchers and experts to discuss in more depth the role of press and media agencies in building the Party on ethics; to objectively recognize and evaluate the current status of promoting the role of press and media agencies in propaganda and education on Party building on ethics in recent times. At the same time, to correctly identify and evaluate the situation and propose the most optimal solutions to effectively promote the role of press and media agencies in building the Party on ethics today.
