Proposal to revoke the license of American International Primary, Secondary and High School due to tax debt

According to the Tax Department of District 7, Nha Be District, AIS American International Education Joint Stock Company, the investor of American International Primary, Middle and High School, owes more than 100 billion VND in taxes.

The tax authorities have applied many coercive measures as prescribed but still cannot collect tax arrears.

Previously, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training decided to suspend operations at the American International Primary, Middle and High School (Nha Be District).

The reason for the suspension is that the American International Elementary, Middle and High School did not meet the conditions to be allowed to operate education.

Specifically, this educational institution does not have enough financial resources as prescribed to ensure the maintenance and development of educational activities; the number of educational management staff is not sufficient to implement educational programs and organize educational activities.

The suspension period is 12 months from July 1, 2024.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, this afternoon (August 28), the unit will organize a session to guide students on how to transfer school records for American International Primary, Middle and High School students.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training recommends that parents quickly transfer their children to schools to ensure uninterrupted learning before the new school year.

Ho Chi Minh City's public school system will create the most favorable conditions for receiving students.
