(Dan Tri) - Two fourth grade students in Quang Tri picked up a gold bar and tried to return it to the person who lost it and were commended and rewarded.
On March 24, Hai Khe Primary and Secondary School, Hai Lang District, Quang Tri Province held a ceremony to award Certificates of Merit to two students of class 4B, Le Thanh Tinh and Tran Thi Linh Dan. This is a recognition for the two students' actions of picking up lost items and returning them to their owners.
Deputy Secretary of Hai Lang District Youth Union, Mr. Le Quy Tri, highly appreciated the actions of the two children, saying that this is not only a manifestation of honesty but also a shining example, contributing to educating the younger generation about ethics and social responsibility.

As Dan Tri reported, on the afternoon of March 20, Hai Khe Commune Police returned 1 tael of gold to Mr. Truong Van Sung, who unfortunately lost this property.
Mr. Sung (born in 1991, residing in Khanh Hoa province) said that he borrowed 2 gold rings from relatives to use as capital for business when he returned to his hometown to visit his family. However, he accidentally dropped them on the way home.
Luckily, two students, Le Thanh Tinh and Tran Thi Linh Dan, picked up the gold and went with their parents to report it to the police.
Hai Khe Commune Police quickly verified the owner and returned the property to Mr. Sung. After receiving the property, Mr. Sung wrote a handwritten letter of thanks to the police force and 2 students of Hai Khe Primary and Secondary School.
