Actively innovate the content of propaganda work to celebrate important holidays and events of the country and locality and cultural and artistic activities; innovate and improve the effectiveness of political theory work, studying, thoroughly grasping and organizing the implementation of resolutions and directives of the Party at all levels.
In 2023, the propaganda sector organized 160 conferences with over 150,000 cadres and party members participating in studying, grasping and implementing resolutions, directives and regulations of the Party at all levels. Monitoring press reports on Lao Cai is carried out daily, promptly providing information for leadership and management. Press meetings are held periodically every month to help press agencies operate in the right direction, purpose and principles.
Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Vu Xuan Cuong, Standing Deputy Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, praised the achievements of the propaganda sector in 2023. At the same time, he requested the propaganda sector to continue to improve the quality and effectiveness of its advisory work on building and promulgating major policies and orientations on propaganda work; innovate and improve the quality and effectiveness in directing, organizing research, studying, thoroughly grasping and propagating resolutions and documents of the Party; promote the application of information technology to proactively improve the quality of situation forecasting, promptly grasp and process information, and orient public opinion...
Concluding the conference, Mr. Duong Duc Huy, Head of Lao Cai Propaganda Department, accepted the directions of the Provincial Party Committee leaders. At the same time, he requested all levels and sectors in the propaganda sector to continue to effectively implement all aspects of propaganda work. Closely following the political tasks and important political events of the country and Lao Cai province, in the new situation and requirements of revolutionary tasks, propaganda work must continue to innovate, be creative, and improve quality and efficiency even more. In particular, the propaganda sector will direct press agencies to continue to coordinate with departments, branches and sectors to promote propaganda on environmental protection, not allowing environmental hotspots to arise in the province.
At the same time, Mr. Huy also said that some key tasks that need to be implemented in 2024 are to closely follow the Party's resolutions, projects, and specialized resolutions of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the direction and guidance of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Central Propaganda Department to effectively implement propaganda tasks in Lao Cai province.
Advise on the preliminary and final review of resolutions, conclusions and regulations of the Party and Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee.
