There are 29/30 cases subject to enforcement in Long Thanh district agreeing to hand over the site of the Bien Hoa

These are the communes: Phuoc Binh, An Phuoc, Phuoc Thai, Long Phuoc, Tan Hiep, Loc An and Long Thanh town, an increase of 2 localities compared to yesterday.

For Long An commune, sub-project component 1 has completed 100% site clearance; sub-project component 2 still has 3 cases of site clearance yet. Long Duc commune still has 242 cases of site clearance yet.

The Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway project through Long Thanh district is about 28km long, with a total area to be recovered of nearly 228 hectares. The district has handed over more than 224.4 hectares, reaching a rate of 98.5%. Of which, sub-project 1 has handed over 95.5% of the land, sub-project 2 has handed over 99.9%.

To date, the district has issued 30 decisions on compulsory land acquisition, and the compulsory acquisition is scheduled to be completed before April 15. Through propaganda and mobilization by the government, 29 cases have agreed to hand over the land, and the locality will mobilize the remaining case one last time before carrying out the compulsory acquisition.

Thus, up to now, Long Thanh district has recovered land from more than 2,540 individuals, households and organizations to implement the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project without any cases requiring forced eviction.
