In the newly established conditions, with no funds or means, some members such as Dang The Am, Ngo Khac Thuong, and Nguyen Van Huong used their family cars to pick up and drop off officials and members of the Association to support families of martyrs in collecting and moving remains back to their hometowns.
Up to now, the Association has coordinated with the Office of the Vietnam Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs in Ho Chi Minh City to support and relocate the remains of 4 martyrs in the province to their hometowns for burial, including: 1 martyr buried at Trang Bang Martyrs Cemetery, 1 martyr buried at Chau Thanh Martyrs Cemetery and 2 martyrs buried at Hill 82 Cemetery (Tan Bien).
In addition, the Association also visited and presented 50 gifts to families of martyrs in Duong Minh Chau district, each gift worth 1 million VND; 15 gifts to 15 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in the province, each gift worth 1.5 million VND.
