Provincial Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities holds Chol Chnam Thmay festival reunion

Ca Mau Newspaper On the occasion of the traditional Chol Chnam Thmay festival of the Khmer people, on the afternoon of April 12, the Ethnic Boarding School of Ca Mau province held a meeting with retired teachers, teachers, staff, parents and nearly 250 students.

Attending the meeting were Most Venerable Thach Ha, Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Ca Mau Province, President of the Provincial Association of Patriotic Monks and Monks; Ms. Quach Kieu Mai, Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, and representatives of agencies, departments, branches, and organizations at the provincial and Ca Mau City levels.

At the meeting, Ms. Quach Kieu Mai read the Prime Minister's congratulatory letter for Chol Chnam Thmay. At the same time, she wished the school's teaching council and students a joyful, safe and happy traditional New Year. Promoting the achieved results, in the coming time, she hopes that the school will continue to fulfill its educational tasks well, contributing to the province's training of ethnic minority cadres.

Ca Mau Province Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities is a specialized school, in addition to teaching cultural knowledge to students, it also provides them with food and accommodation. Not only that, the school also cares about preserving the national cultural identity through holidays and Tet. In the past time, teachers and students of Ca Mau Province Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities have always received the attention of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee and agencies, departments and branches, creating all conditions for the school in carrying out the task of teaching and caring for Khmer ethnic children.

Ms. Quach Kieu Mai gave Tet gifts to all the school's students, each gift worth 200,000 VND.
