Introducing additional personnel for the 14th Party Central Committee's planning

The Party Central Committee introduced additional planning for the 14th Party Central Committee on the last working day of the 11th Central Conference of the 13th tenure.

According to the Central Party Office, on April 12, continuing the 11th Central Conference of the 13th tenure, the Central Party worked in the hall.

The Party Central Committee has carried out the process of introducing additional planning for the 14th Party Central Committee Executive Committee.

At the conference, General Secretary To Lam chaired the process of introducing additional information on the Planning of the 14th Party Central Committee.

The Central Committee and delegates attending the Conference discussed preparations for the 14th National Congress and the election of the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; and listened to a thematic report on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation, and digital transformation.

The Politburo met to receive and explain opinions of the Central Committee discussed on April 11 and the morning of April 12 on preparations for the 14th National Congress and the election of the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

On the same afternoon, the Party Central Committee held its closing session in the hall. National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man chaired the meeting on behalf of the Politburo.

The Central Committee listened to Head of the Central Organization Committee Le Minh Hung present the Politburo's report on receiving and explaining the continued arrangement of the political system's apparatus, arrangement of administrative units and organization of two-level local governments.

The Central Committee also listened to Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, present the Politburo's report on the reception and explanation of the preparations for the 14th National Congress and the election of the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

The Central Committee discussed the above contents and passed the Resolution of the 11th Central Conference, Session XIII. General Secretary To Lam delivered the concluding speech and closed the conference.

In his closing speech, General Secretary To Lam also said that at the conference, the Central Committee discussed, gave opinions and basically agreed to approve the draft direction for personnel work of the 14th Party Central Committee; supplementing personnel planning for the 14th Party Central Committee.

At the same time, the Party Central Committee also unanimously approved the contents of amendments and supplements to the Regulations of the Central Executive Committee on the implementation of the Party Charter; Regulations on the Party's inspection, supervision and discipline work; the contents of amendments and supplements to Directive No. 35 dated June 14, 2024 and Conclusion No. 118 dated January 18, 2025 of the Politburo on Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress.

In addition, the Central Committee also approved the direction for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
