According to a report by the Ministry of Information and Communications, in 2020, Vietnam had about 50,000 employees working in the field of information security and the demand in this field was up to 700,000 people.
In the context of strong digital transformation, cyber attacks on information technology systems are increasingly complex and sophisticated, the demand for recruiting cybersecurity human resources in Vietnam is very large and increasingly requires high quality.
According to experts, with about 2,000 information security students added each year from training institutions, this human resource is still a "drop in the ocean" compared to actual needs.
To narrow the gap between information security training and the actual needs of businesses, SCS Smart Network Security Joint Stock Company (SafeGate) and Bachkhoa-Aptech International IT Training System have just signed a cooperation agreement in the field of information security human resource training, aiming to contribute to improving information security human resources.

Vietnam is seriously lacking in human resources in the field of information security.
The two sides will work together to develop and design training programs for Cyber Security experts; Create a comprehensive training ecosystem including study - internship - employment for information security students.
Cybersecurity training programs follow a streamlined roadmap from 4 months to 2 years, suitable for many subjects including high school graduates who love and are passionate about the field of cybersecurity; students studying IT and information security at universities and colleges; working people who want to change careers or improve their knowledge of Information Security.
According to Mr. Kieu Duc Hanh, Director of Bachkhoa-Aptech, the training program focuses on practicing skills with 900 hours of expertise following the "Do first, learn later" model, 3 months of internship at the enterprise, owning 4 real products, equipping students with English, soft skills, Digital Marketing skills and extracurricular activities.
In addition, the training programs not only focus on professional knowledge theory but also focus on practice up to 75% through "on job training" with leading experts so that students can apply knowledge to real work.
Recently, the cyber security situation in Vietnam has become complicated when two large enterprises became the target of ransomware attacks, causing serious damage. Experts warn that in the coming time, the trend of ransomware attacks will continue to increase in Vietnam.
