The City Business Bloc Party Committee launched a political contest on "Protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views in the new situation"
(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the morning of April 9, at the hall of Hai Phong Water Supply Joint Stock Company, the Party Committee of the City's Business Bloc held a conference to study, learn, disseminate, propagate, and implement the topic of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in 2024; launched a political essay contest and trained in writing political essay skills on "Protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views in the new situation".
At the Conference, delegates listened to the dissemination of the Special Topic on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in 2024 "on building and developing Hai Phong to harmonize economic development and cultural development". The content mentioned Ho Chi Minh's thinking on the relationship between economy and culture; Uncle Ho's advice to Hai Phong city in economic and cultural development; Hai Phong city implementing harmonious development between economy and culture today; thereby connecting the practice when studying and following Uncle Ho for each collective and individual.
This is the 4th year that the Political Contest on "Protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views in the new situation" was launched by the Central Steering Committee 35 and strongly implemented by the city to continue raising awareness and responsibility of Party committees, Party organizations, cadres, Party members and the People for the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views. Thereby, discovering, training, fostering and practicing skills for the participating forces, forming a widespread network to protect, propagate and spread the Party's guidelines, policies and viewpoints, the State's policies and laws, "greening" positive information from the grassroots, contributing to creating consensus in the whole society.
Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Do Quang Khoa, Secretary of the Party Committee of the City's Business Bloc, requested that Party committees and socio-political organizations under the Bloc include the content of implementing the 2024 Topic in the unit's Annual Plan; direct each cadre, Party member, Youth Union member, and Association member to register the content and commit to studying and following Uncle Ho's teachings in accordance with assigned duties and tasks. Direct the launch and response to participate in the Political Contest on "Protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views in the new situation" in 2024 to ensure quality, purpose, requirements, content and participation time.
In addition, strengthen the dissemination of the content and results of the implementation of the 2024 Special Topic and the entire course Special Topic. Focus on implementing the model of "four good party cells", "four good grassroots party committees", direct the registration of building agencies, units and enterprises that meet cultural standards according to the instructions of the direct superior trade union; register the model of "skillful mass mobilization" in 2024; well implement the Law on implementing democracy at the grassroots level; pay attention to the cultural and spiritual life of workers; do a good job of social security. Have a plan to regularly inspect, monitor and evaluate the results of the implementation of following Uncle Ho by cadres, party members, union members, association members and workers at the end of 2024.
