| Delegates attend the Closing and Award Ceremony of the Political Contest on Protecting the Party's Ideological Foundation in 2024. |
On the morning of October 1, the closing ceremony and award ceremony of the 2024 Political Contest on Protecting the Party's Ideological Foundation in the Party Committee of the Central Agencies took place at the National Radio Center, 58 Quan Su, Hanoi.
Attending the closing ceremony were comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Deputy Head of the Central Steering Committee 35; comrade Nguyen Van The, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies, Head of the Steering Committee for the 2024 Competition; comrade Nguyen Minh Vu, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and many comrades representing leaders of ministries, departments, branches and organizations under the Central Government.
Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia praised, acknowledged and highly appreciated the Party Committee of the Central Agencies for actively responding and participating in the Contest very proactively, creatively and effectively. He said that in 3 years (from 2021-2023), the Political Contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation has truly become a highlight in the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views.
Through the Contest, Party committees, Party organizations, cadres, Party members, Youth Union members and the masses raise awareness and responsibility for the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views, and at the same time continue to discover, train and foster forces, forming a rich, high-quality, highly combative system of documents to directly serve the work of disseminating positive information and fighting against bad and toxic information.
Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia proposed 4 contents that need to be well implemented in the coming time. Including: Continuing to study and thoroughly grasp to raise awareness of Party committees and organizations at all levels about the responsibility of leadership, direction, exemplary spirit, and self-awareness of cadres and Party members, especially leaders in deploying and implementing Resolution 35-NQ/TW of the 12th Politburo and Conclusion No. 89-KL/TW of the 13th Politburo on continuing to implement Resolution No. 35-NQ/TW, dated October 22, 2018 of the 12th Politburo on "Strengthening the protection of the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against wrong and hostile views in the new situation".
Promote propaganda and post high-quality entries on the internet and social networks, creating a wide spread to cadres, party members, people of all walks of life, the Vietnamese community abroad and international friends.
Strengthening training and coaching, improving theoretical level, political capacity, sense of responsibility, professional expertise, and skills for forces directly involved in protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints, especially for staff forces assisting Steering Committee 35 at all levels, paying attention to clarifying the identification of plots, tricks, and methods of sabotage by hostile, reactionary, and opportunistic political forces; agencies under the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc should further promote the role of theoretical research, strategic consulting, and key communications, making an important contribution to implementing solutions to protect the Party's ideological foundation...

This year, the Political Contest on Protecting the Party's Ideological Foundation was organized on a larger scale than the previous two years; the prize structure increased in quantity and value.
The entries are of good quality, rich and diverse in many fields. Some of the entries were published in newspapers and magazines and broadcast promptly after being submitted to the Contest, contributing to the effective dissemination of the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile views.
The judging process was organized methodically and professionally, selecting and proposing enough quality works according to the award structure for consideration and awarding.
The Organizing Committee of the Contest received 4,924 works in 5 categories: Magazine, newspaper, television, radio and video clips from 55/61 Party Committees under the Party Committee of the Central Agencies. At the ceremony, 106 excellent works in the categories were awarded.
Many Party Committees under the Party Committee of the Central Agencies have launched and organized Creative and Effective Competitions, attracting a large number of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers to participate, typically the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with 668 entries, winning 1 First Prize in the video clip category (Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs), 1 Third Prize and 3 Consolation Prizes.
The diverse participants include officials and civil servants of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassadors, officials of Vietnamese representative agencies abroad, experts, intellectuals, overseas students, and reporters of Vietnamese news agencies abroad. Notably, this year, there continues to be the participation of foreign authors.

With outstanding results, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Party Committee of the Central Agencies for "Outstanding achievements in organizing the 2024 Political Contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation in the Party Committee of the Central Agencies".
