(QNO) - This morning, June 15, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Tri Thanh, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Nguyen Thi Thu Lan attended the mid-term review conference for the 2020-2025 term and the first 6 months of the Party work of the Quang Nam Public Security Party Committee.
Reporting at the conference, Major General Nguyen Duc Dung - Director of the Provincial Police Department informed that during the first half of the term, the Quang Nam Police Party Committee proactively led the situation of border security, ethnicity, religion, internal political security, economy and cyber security.
Providing timely advice to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee, thereby effectively leading the task of ensuring security and order in the area, preventing "hot spots", complicated complaints, riots, and terrorism.
During the past half term, the Quang Nam Public Security Party Committee completed all aspects of its work, making important contributions to the economic, social, cultural and foreign affairs development of the locality.

The Quang Nam Public Security Party Committee has resolutely directed the peak periods of attacks and suppression of all types of crimes, contributing to curbing the increase of all types of crimes. Important activities have been effectively implemented by the sector, such as the "Project on production, issuance and management of citizen identification cards", "Project 06/CP of the Government on developing applications of population data, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation in the period of 2022 - 2025, with a vision to 2030"; strengthening fire prevention and fighting, ensuring traffic order and safety, etc.
Notably, the Party Committee and the Party Committee's Standing Committee have focused on leading and directing the promotion of consultation and implementation of Resolution No. 12-NQ/TW dated March 16, 2022 of the Politburo on promoting the building of a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, and modern People's Public Security force to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Tri Thanh highly appreciated the achievements of the Provincial Public Security Party Committee in leading the implementation of assigned political tasks in the first half of the 2020-2025 term and the first 6 months of 2023.
