Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van The, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc, highly appreciated the leadership and direction of the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Transport; the organization and apparatus of the Party Committee of the Ministry operated well, meeting the requirements of society, the Party and the Government.

In particular, the Ministry of Transport has directed Party committees, Party organizations, agencies and affiliated units to resolutely implement; many important traffic projects and works have been completed and put into operation. That demonstrates the role of organizations, unions and the participation of the entire political system of the transport sector.

The Party Secretary of the Bloc highly appreciated the Ministry of Transport for successfully completing its political tasks and Party building work; at the same time, he noted a number of key tasks regarding political, ideological and ethical work, Party building work, cadre work, Party inspection, supervision and discipline work, mass mobilization work and leadership of mass organizations.

The Party Executive Committee and the Party Committee of the Ministry of Transport need to continue to lead and direct the organization of studying, thoroughly grasping and implementing the Party's directives and resolutions, especially the directive of the 13th Politburo on Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Reporting on the results of the first 5 months of 2024, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Transport Dao Van Tien said that the Party Committee of the Ministry of Transport has closely followed the drastic and comprehensive leadership, direction and administration of the Government and the Prime Minister; the drastic leadership, direction and administration of the Party Committee, the Minister, the leaders of the Ministry, the close leadership and direction of the Party Committee of the Bloc.

In particular, plans have been developed and propaganda has been organized to celebrate major holidays and important historical events of the year. Plans have been implemented to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in 2024. Conclusion No. 21-KL/TW of the 13th Party Central Committee has been continued to be implemented. Documents have been issued to implement the Resolutions of the 8th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee.

Organize a conference to disseminate and thoroughly understand the content of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's book by connecting online to 170 points with 2,960 cadres and party members in attendance; thoroughly understand and implement Resolution No. 41-NQ/TW of the Politburo to 35 points with more than 700 delegates. Continue to promote activities to protect the Party's ideological foundation according to Resolution No. 35-NQ/TW of the Politburo. Lead and direct Party committees at all levels to review, supplement, and promulgate new regulations and rules of Party committees, inspection committees, and Party cells according to new regulations of the Secretariat... Lead and direct the development and implementation of the 2024 Inspection and Supervision Program...

However, Standing Deputy Secretary Dao Van Tien also frankly pointed out the shortcomings and limitations. Accordingly, the results of leadership in implementing political tasks at some Party committees and organizations are still not high, not closely following the tasks of Party organizations, agencies and units.

The development of resolutions, plans, work programs, etc., and their implementation in some Party committees and organizations are still slow; the work of managing Party members and grasping the political and ideological situation in some places has not received much attention. The organization and implementation of inspection and supervision tasks in some Party committees and inspection committees at the grassroots level is still formal, with low quality and efficiency. Some Party committees have not properly implemented the notification of monitoring assignments and regulations on work for full-time cadres, and the reporting regime according to regulations.

From the difficulties and limitations, Deputy Secretary Dao Van Tien also proposed to the Party Committee of the Central Agencies some contents to support the Party Committee of the Ministry of Transport to complete all aspects of work well.
