On March 26, Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott) awarded the Jackpot prize to Mr. VK with a prize value of more than 25 billion VND. Mr. VK is the owner of the Viettel subscriber who won the Jackpot prize.
Previously, through checking the lottery business data system and the attached personal records, Vietlott determined that Mr. VK won the Jackpot prize in the Mega 6/45 lottery of the 1172nd drawing held on the evening of March 15 with a prize value of VND 25,152,452,500. The winning numbers were 09 - 11 - 16 - 29 - 31 - 33.

Mr. VK is from and resides in Son La. Mr. VK shared that he has been a regular player of Vietlott's lottery for the past 5 years.
Every day, he buys 5 tickets for fun and luck. Mr. VK has a habit of following the daily results and choosing to buy the numbers that have not appeared for the next period.
Mr. VK said that day, while cooking rice, as usual, he checked the results and was flustered not knowing what to do when he saw his numbers hit the Jackpot.
When Mr. VK informed his wife, she did not believe him until he showed her the text message with an appointment to go to Vietlott's headquarters to complete the prize payment documents. Mr. VK said that with this amount of money, he would deposit it in the bank and then plan to spend it wisely.
At the award ceremony, Mr. VK donated 180 million VND to implement social security in Son La province (building solidarity houses, giving gifts to the poor) and sent 200 million VND to the charity fund.
According to regulations, Mr. VK is obliged to pay personal income tax at the place of registration to participate in the prize, Son La, with a total value of more than 2.5 billion VND (10% of the value exceeding 10 million VND) and is deducted immediately upon receiving the prize.
