The 11th Uncle Ho's Good Children Congress in 2025

On the afternoon of March 18, the Provincial Council of the Young Pioneers organized the 11th Congress of Uncle Ho's Good Children in 2025. Attending the congress were comrade Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee; leaders of the Central Youth Union, the Central Council of the Young Pioneers and 135 delegates of Uncle Ho's Good Children representing children in the whole province.

Many outstanding results in the work of the Team and children's movement

Over the past 5 years, with the active activities of 395 teams and the efforts of 254,224 team members, teenagers, and children, along with 395 teachers in charge of the Team and 242 Team leaders in residential areas, the Team work and children's movement in Thai Binh province have had many improvements. Many meaningful movements, new, creative, and useful activity models have been implemented, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere at Team bases.

The teams have organized 2,850 activities to return to the source, journey to "red addresses", more than 3,600 activities to help families of war invalids and martyrs; built 38 new "Red Scarf Houses" worth nearly 3 billion VND; donated 810 bicycles to school with a total cost of 971 million VND. The program "Lighting up the dreams of Thai Binh children" has attracted the attention of the whole society, with 9,920 team members being sponsored and 21,015 scholarships awarded with a total value of more than 8 billion VND. Each year, the whole province has more than 21,000 children achieving the title of Uncle Ho's Good Children. Many children have achieved high results in provincial and national level exams, overcoming difficulties to excel in their studies.

Commend children's spirit of learning and training

Speaking at the congress, comrade Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, commended the results that children in the province have achieved in recent times.

He emphasized that in order to become useful citizens, contributing to the development of the homeland, the children need to continue to strive to study, practice, and implement the five teachings of Uncle Ho, be exemplary in the movements of the Young Pioneers, and contribute to building the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Organization stronger and stronger. At the same time, they need to cultivate morality, life skills, compassion, responsibility, solidarity, love for friends, and actively participate in community activities.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also requested that Party committees at all levels, authorities, departments, branches, and organizations, especially the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee - Provincial Pioneer Council, continue to pay more attention to the work of caring for, protecting, and educating children. In particular, it is necessary to invest in school facilities, playgrounds, improve the quality of health care, and create favorable conditions for children to study, play, and practice in the best environment. In addition, it is necessary to innovate the content and methods of organizing Pioneer activities, contributing to building a young generation with full qualities and capacities to continue the cause of building the homeland and the country.
