As one of 20 outstanding young people participating in the 9th Global Young Parliamentarians Conference, Dr. Chu Duc Ha (University of Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi) shared that he has many emotions and expectations from this conference.

The conference was the largest ever, attracting more than 200 parliamentarians and 300 delegates from more than 160 countries and territories, including representatives of parliamentary bodies, inter-parliamentary forums and global youth organizations.
The role of youth is extremely prominent.
"This is my first time attending the Global Young Parliamentarians Conference, and I am filled with emotions," Dr. Chu Duc Ha shared with Thanh Nien, as one of 20 outstanding Vietnamese youth delegates attending the conference.
"I am proud and feel fortunate to be a part of this community. Together with 20 delegates from Vietnam, I hope to bring a vibrant and enthusiastic image of Vietnam's Y (Youth) to initiate a global digital transformation and innovation ecosystem," Dr. Ha shared.

According to Dr. Ha, this year's theme "The role of youth in promoting the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals through digital transformation and innovation" clearly shows the necessity and importance of digital transformation towards sustainable development in the modern context in countries, especially in Vietnam.
In this process, the role of young people is extremely prominent and important. With the rise of issues such as climate change and cyber security, digital transformation helps countries find effective and quick solutions to cope with global challenges. Digital technology also helps optimize processes, minimize environmental impacts and create new economic opportunities, while aiming to effectively manage resources, reduce emissions and create innovative solutions to social problems.

"In this process, I see the role of young people as a driving force for innovation. Because young people are often creative, flexible and open-minded, willing to accept and adapt to new technologies, creating breakthrough solutions and ideas. Young people are also pioneers in applying digital technology, not only in business but also in daily life and education. We will be the bridge between the older, experienced generation and the younger, dynamic generation. From there, we can help convey and disseminate new technologies and solutions to all walks of life," Dr. Ha shared.
Invest in education
According to Dr. Ha, the necessity of the digital transformation theme towards sustainable development not only helps shape the future of the world, but also opens up opportunities for young people to maximize their potential and contribute to the development of the community and society.
"We young people are the generation of the future, I want a sustainable future, not only economically but also environmentally and socially. We are ready to act and seek creative solutions to ensure this future," Dr. Ha expressed.
Dr. Chu Duc Ha has won many prestigious awards from the Central Youth Union.

Talking about his wishes at this conference, Dr. Ha said that applying digital technology is not only to achieve efficiency and economic benefits, but also to serve the larger goal of sustainable development and social responsibility.
"Therefore, we want to be heard and involved in the decision-making process, from policy formulation to the implementation of projects related to digital transformation. Participating in the conference is also an opportunity for us to send a message: let's invest in education and training so that young people can effectively contribute to the digital transformation process. They need to be equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills through quality education and training," said Dr. Ha.
At the same time, Dr. Ha believes that it is necessary to create conditions for innovation, by building an environment that supports creativity and innovation, where young people can experiment, take risks and develop their ideas.
"I want to emphasize that although digital technology is an important part, people, culture and social values also play an important role in this transformation process," Dr. Ha added.
