BHG - On the morning of February 26, in Vinh Yen city (Vinh Phuc province), the Political Department of Military Region 2 coordinated with the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee to organize a meeting between the Political Department of Military Region and the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committees of 9 provincial Party Committees and press agencies in 2025. Major General Nguyen Hong Thai - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Political Commissar of the Military Region; Comrade Bui Huy Vinh - Standing Deputy Secretary of Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee attended and directed the conference.
Colonel Khong Dinh Tam - Member of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Military Region and Comrade Tran Thanh Hai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission of Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee co-chaired the conference.

At the Conference, a summary report on the results of propaganda coordination in 2024 and the direction and tasks for 2025 were approved. Accordingly, in 2024, propaganda coordination activities were seriously, closely, and effectively implemented by the Political Department of Military Region 2, the Propaganda Department, and the Newspapers and Radio Stations of 9 provinces, with comprehensive propaganda content and diverse forms. The coordination work was directed to be organized and implemented synchronously, uniformly, in accordance with regulations, plans, and programs. The results of propaganda coordination activities have contributed to arousing the pride and sense of responsibility of officers and soldiers of the Military Region's armed forces and the people in preserving and promoting the nature and fine traditions of the nation and the heroic Vietnam People's Army.
In 2025, the Political Department of Military Region 2, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the 9 Provincial Party Committees set out 8 groups of tasks, including disseminating the Party's guidelines, policies, directives, resolutions, the State's laws and policies, the tasks of the Army, Military Regions and the contents, goals, tasks, and solutions of localities in socio-economic development associated with consolidating national defense and security, strengthening the Party's leadership in the task of protecting the Fatherland in the new period...
Speaking at the Conference, Major General Nguyen Hong Thai requested the Political Department of the Military Region, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the 9 Provincial Party Committees, and press agencies to grasp the ideological orientation, guidelines and policies of the Party and State, the political tasks of localities and the Army, especially new contents; on that basis, strengthen coordination to synchronously and comprehensively innovate the content, form and methods of coordinating information and propaganda in the direction of "Proactive, timely, sensitive, profound, comprehensive and effective". Propaganda must be focused, key, highly pervasive, creating unity, building trust, momentum, motivation and high responsibility for cadres, soldiers and people; coordinate well in exchanging, providing information, handling promptly, closely and in the right direction....
Discussing at the Conference, delegates proposed many solutions to improve the quality and effectiveness of propaganda coordination between the Political Department of Military Region 2 and the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Provincial Party Committee, the Press, Radio and Television Stations of 9 provinces in the Military Region...

At the Conference, the Literary and Artistic Composition Contest was launched to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Armed Forces of Military Region 2 (October 19, 1946 - October 19, 2026). The Political Commissar of Military Region 2 awarded Certificates of Merit to 4 groups and 40 individuals for their outstanding achievements in coordinating propaganda between the Military Region's Political Department and the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Provincial Party Committees of 9 provinces, and press agencies in 2024.
