Voters worry about overcharging at schools

This morning, October 23, reporting to the National Assembly on voters' opinions, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien said that voters and people highly appreciate the efforts of the Party, Government and National Assembly.

In particular, the economy continues to grow, social security is guaranteed, and the value of the Vietnamese currency is maintained. Although public investment disbursement has not yet reached the plan, it has increased by 5% (equivalent to 110,000 billion VND)...

However, according to Mr. Chien, voters and people are still concerned and worried about the unstable production and business situation of enterprises and the narrowing market for product consumption.

The shortage of teachers, schools and classrooms; some educational institutions charging excessive fees cause frustration for parents and students.

Regarding foreign affairs, voters and people also expressed their concern and worry about the conflict between Russia and Ukraine continuing to escalate, and the conflict between Israel and Hamas causing concerns about world instability, affecting the socio-economic development of our country.

Corruption occurs even among some anti-corruption people.

Supporting the Party and State's fight against corruption and negativity, voters also trust in the results of investigations and trials of corruption and negativity cases, which truly have no forbidden zones and no exceptions.

However, there are still concerns and worries about the increasingly sophisticated corruption and negativity, petty corruption and harassment of businesses and people. Corruption and negativity even occur among some people who are tasked with preventing and combating corruption and negativity.

Regarding security, order and social safety, voters and people are particularly concerned and strongly condemn the terrorist crimes that occurred in Cu Kuin District (Dak Lak)...

At the same time, I hope the State will strictly handle the ringleaders and have a lenient policy towards ignorant and gullible people.

"Voters and people are shocked, heartbroken, and share the great loss of the families of the victims of the mini apartment fire on Khuong Ha Street (Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi); are concerned and worried about the complicated developments in kidnapping and child abuse, and some particularly serious murder cases," Mr. Chien stated.

At the same time, it is recommended to strictly handle violations of the Law on Cyber ​​Security; prevent the situation of using electricity to catch earthworms that is taking place in many localities, causing unpredictable harm.

Supporting the policy of merging administrative units, but according to Mr. Chien, voters still have many concerns because some localities have not really paid attention to arranging and implementing policies for cadres who no longer have jobs.

Regarding food safety, there are still concerns about food insecurity, excessive use of pesticides, use of banned substances in livestock farming, use of imported genetically modified soybeans for livestock to make tofu and some other products that can affect people's health; advertising of functional foods that are not true to reality, "attracting customers", causing confusion.

Regarding the land and real estate sector, voters and people are frustrated with the situation of suspended planning and unfinished investment projects affecting people's normal lives. Typical examples include the Thach Khe iron mine in Ha Tinh, some urban area projects that have not been completed for decades or some places lacking land to build schools...

Some people have invested in buying houses and land for many years now, but the project has been stopped, their rights have not been satisfactorily resolved, causing many complaints from the people.

On behalf of voters, the Vietnam Fatherland Front also recommended that the Party and State continue to have more effective and efficient solutions to support businesses and people in economic recovery and development, promote public investment, promote economic growth and contribute to job creation and stabilizing life.
