Ba Ria - Vung Tau summarizes 10 years of the people's movement to protect territorial sovereignty

On the afternoon of February 17, the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province directed the implementation of the summary of 10 years of the movement of the entire people participating in protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security and organizing activities of the "People's Border Guard Day" in 2025.

Accordingly, the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province has assigned the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to guide the system of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels and member organizations to coordinate in organizing the summary of 10 years of implementing Directive No. 01/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on the movement of all people participating in protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security in the new situation and organizing activities of the 2025 National Border Guard Festival.

To implement the activities of "People's Border Guard Day" in 2025, the Provincial People's Committee also directed agencies, units, and localities to organize "People's Border Guard Day" in communes, wards, and towns on sea and island borders.

The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province coordinated with the Provincial Border Guard Command to guide and direct the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at district and commune levels to coordinate with Border Guard Stations to well organize the activities of "People's Border Guard Day" in 2025.

As part of the festival activities, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province also organized many cultural, artistic and sports exchange activities, and competitions to learn about Vietnam's sovereignty over borders, seas and islands for local people.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province will also organize a ceremony to reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements and contributions to the movement to protect national border security and sovereignty.
