On the afternoon of December 28, the fanpage of Sen Vang - the management unit of Miss Thien An - posted an announcement denying the rumor that this beauty was banned from taking exams at Greenwich University Vietnam because of missing too many classes.
The announcement stated: "Currently, information about Miss Doan Thien An's study process at Greenwich University is being spread on social networking sites and newspapers. We would like to confirm: This is false and baseless information. Dear viewers, please be selective and avoid making the information more inaccurate.
Miss Doan Thien An has completed her college program at the University of Industry and is expected to graduate in March 2024.
With a spirit of learning, Miss Doan Thien An continued her university studies after receiving a scholarship at Greenwich University. We highly encourage Thien An's spirit when she still wants to gain more knowledge and strive to improve herself with a second study program. This unit also emphasized: "Doan Thien An's study path at Greenwich University is determined to be longer than the school's standard students after the school and the company discussed and agreed to support the rearrangement of the subject path in the most appropriate way to balance between study time and career development activities of Miss Doan Thien An".
Previously, on social networks, there were rumors that Miss Doan Thien An was on the list of students who were not eligible to take the 2023 semester exam at Greenwich University Vietnam because she missed 37 classes, an absence rate of up to 53%.
The governing body denied rumors that Thien An was banned from taking exams because she missed too many classes.
Responding to Tuoi Tre Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Nhut Tan - Director of Greenwich Vietnam - confirmed that Doan Thien An is currently a first-year student, enrollment class 2023, currently studying in the English preparatory stage at Greenwich Vietnam, not yet in the major.
However, Mr. Tan said that Doan Thien An's English was very good so she did not need to start over. Accordingly, the information that this beauty was banned from taking the exam because she missed too many classes was not true.
Doan Thien An was born in 2000 in Long An and was crowned Miss Grand Vietnam 2022. This beauty also represented Vietnam at the Miss Grand International 2022 pageant and entered the top 20 finalists.
