Thanh Thuy, 22 years old, is nominated for the most beautiful Miss World 2024 by Global Beauties.
On February 23, the beauty website announced the list of candidates for the Miss Global Beauties award, in which Thanh Thuy was the only Vietnamese beauty to participate. She attracted attention when crown Miss International in Japan - the best achievement of a domestic contestant in 2024. Thanh Thuy said: "I am happy to receive a lot of love from international beauty fans".
Her full name Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy, 1.76 m tall, from Da Nang. Before being crowned Miss Vietnam 2022, she won the title of Miss University of Foreign Languages under the University of Da Nang, 1st runner-up of the 2021 Elegant Student Contest. At the end of November 2024, she was awarded a full scholarship by the University of Da Nang for her master's degree.
In recent months, Thanh Thuy has participated in many activities such as fashion shows, MV filming, and being a brand ambassador. She has been honored Beauty of the year at the awards Star of 2024. On February 20, Thanh Thuy was on the list of 19 nominees for Outstanding Young Vietnamese Faces of the Central Youth Union and the Vietnam Young Talent Support Fund, along with singers Soobin and Phuong My Chi.
Miss will compete with the reigning Miss World - Krystyna Pyszková, Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig, Rachel Gupta - Miss Grand International 2024 and Harashta Haifa Zahra, Ketut Permata Juliastrid, Jessica Lane - the beauties were crowned Miss Supranational, Miss Cosmo, Miss Earth respectively.
According to the organizers, the top 50 were selected from more than 30,000 women who participated in international competitions last year. Experts continued to vote to shorten the list, then announced the winning beauty.
This year, the award changed its name after more than 20 times being held, replacing Miss Grand Slam. Previously, the unit only selected candidates from major competitions but recently expanded to new playgrounds.
Global Beauties is a beauty site founded in 1998. Not only reporting on beauty pageants and pageants, this site also has a team of experts who predict results and organize annual polls.
