The Vietnam Cultural Heritage Conservation Support Fund has just decided to recognize the Executive Board of the Vietnam Ao Dai Heritage Club in Binh Thuan province.
The club has 13 members, with Ms. Le Thi Hai Yen - President of the Provincial Women's Union as Honorary Chairwoman; Ms. Phung Thi Thu Nga - Director of Trung Nga Transport Company as Chairwoman, and 5 Vice Chairwomen.
The club is a common home for those who love Ao Dai, thereby contributing to promoting the wearing of Ao Dai regularly in daily activities. At the same time, it is a place to exchange and share information and experiences in honoring and promoting the value of Vietnamese Ao Dai. The club will contribute with the Vietnam Ao Dai Heritage Club to make Ao Dai a National Intangible Cultural Heritage and propose UNESCO to recognize it as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
It is known that the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Conservation Support Fund was established in 2013 under the decision of the Minister of Home Affairs. This is a social fund, operating not for profit on the principle of self-creating initial capital contributions from founders, funding sources and completely voluntary contributions from domestic and foreign organizations and individuals in accordance with the provisions of law. The Fund operates with the aim of supporting, encouraging and contributing to raising awareness and responsibility of the community in the cause of protecting and promoting the value of national cultural heritage. The Fund is under the state management of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and relevant ministries and branches regarding the scope and fields of operation of the Fund.
