Improving vocational training quality from connecting schools and businesses

Internship and practice activities at enterprises play an important role for vocational training institutions to improve the quality of vocational training today.

The close connection between theory and practice in the training program has been effectively implemented by vocational training institutions in the province, including Vinh Phuc College of Engineering and Technology, in recent times, contributing significantly to training high-quality human resources to serve the industrialization and modernization of Vinh Phuc.

At the end of the first academic year, more than 20 students of the K16C Control and Automation Engineering College of Vinh Phuc College of Technology were contacted by the school to do an internship at Yazaki Hai Phong Vietnam Co., Ltd. For the students, applying the theories they have learned at school to the production lines at the factory helps them get acquainted with practical work to improve their qualifications and professional skills.

The Faculty of Electronics is one of the key faculties for high-quality vocational training of Vinh Phuc College of Technology. Currently, the Faculty of Electronics has 36 classes with a total of more than 1,000 students. Closely combining theory and practice, with the current professions that the Faculty of Electronics is training, students are able to practice on modern equipment at school and intern at businesses.

Currently, Vinh Phuc College of Technology and Engineering is training 11 majors in high-quality occupations. Closely linking vocational training facilities and businesses, 10 businesses have participated in the vocational training process at the School, and at the same time, are also reliable addresses for the school to coordinate in the internship process of students.

The cooperation between vocational training institutions and enterprises has shown clear effectiveness, contributing to improving the quality of human resources associated with job creation. Enterprises highly appreciate the skills of students who have been trained, can start working immediately after graduation and enterprises do not have to spend time and money on retraining.

Statistics from Vinh Phuc College of Technology in recent school years show that over 90% of the school's students after graduation have been recruited into businesses with stable jobs and incomes.
