This year's Vietnam International Choir Competition has the largest number of participating artists ever (more than 1,200 artists); at the same time, it also witnessed the excellence of the troupes when there were no Bronze prizes, up to 12 Silver prizes and 29 Gold prizes.
During the 3 days of the competition, choirs and artists from many countries around the world performed, contributing deep melodies with many high-class choirs on indoor and outdoor stages, leaving the audience in awe.

Mr. Maxime Bégin - conductor of Chorale senior du CEAO (Canada) shared that he and everyone in the group were very honored and happy to be awarded the Gold Prize in the F and G3 categories. These are highly competitive categories, and the performances of the other groups were also excellent.
But according to Mr. Maxime Bégin, above all, the greatest joy for the choir from his distant country of Canada was to interact with many artists from many unique cultures around the world; at the same time, to have days staying in Hoi An with many unforgettable impressions of the beauty of the ancient city and the friendliness of the local people.

Mr. Johan Rooze - INTERKULTUR Artistic Director said that the competition has ended with many unforgettable impressions. The Organizing Committee hopes to see the faces of today again at the 9th competition taking place in 2027, also in this beautiful city of Hoi An.
