Announcing the conclusion of the inspection of public service performance at the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Ministry of Transport, Dong Nai

According to information from the Government Inspectorate, on October 16, Mr. Hoang Hung, Director of the Department of Inspection, Settlement of Complaints and Denunciations of the Economic Sector (Department I, Government Inspectorate) chaired the public announcement of 3 conclusions of the inspection of the responsibility of performing public duties of cadres, civil servants and public employees in handling administrative procedures and providing public services to people and businesses at the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ministry of Transport and the People's Committee of Dong Nai province.

The representative of the inspection delegation presented the full text of Inspection Conclusions No. 361/KL-TTCP, No. 362/KL-TTCP, No. 363/KL-TTCP of the Government Inspector General.

Leaders of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ministry of Transport and the Department of Home Affairs of Dong Nai province all agreed that the inspection team was impartial and objective and acknowledged the achievements of the ministries, branches and provinces in the performance of public duties by cadres, civil servants and public employees in handling administrative procedures and providing public services to people and businesses. The conclusions also pointed out shortcomings and limitations in the performance of public duties.

Representatives of ministries, branches and Dong Nai province agreed with the conclusion and affirmed that they will seriously direct units to strictly implement it.

Meanwhile, the representative of the Department of Supervision, Appraisal and Post-Inspection Handling (Government Inspectorate) requested the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ministry of Transport, and Dong Nai province to develop a plan to implement the conclusions and seriously implement the recommendations to ensure the time according to regulations.

Mr. Hoang Hung highly appreciated the units for their drastic and serious direction in implementing the inspection conclusions, especially many contents were implemented right during the inspection process.

The Director of Department I requested that within the prescribed time (10-15 days), the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ministry of Transport and Dong Nai province immediately direct the implementation of the contents according to the recommendations stated in the inspection conclusion.

For the contents that cannot be implemented immediately, Mr. Hung suggested that it is necessary to issue a plan for early implementation and report the results to the Government Inspectorate in the first quarter of 2025.

The above inspection was conducted by the Government Inspectorate since the end of January this year. The inspection team consisted of 12 members led by Mr. Vu Quoc Cong, Deputy Director of the Department of Inspection, Settlement of Economic Complaints and Denunciations (Department I).
