According to the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE), Mr. Nguyen Hung Cuong successfully received more than 11 million DIG shares from the late Chairman Nguyen Thien Tuan, between October 21 and November 19. Mr. Cuong is Mr. Tuan's son.

Late Chairman Nguyen Thien Tuan passed away on August 10. On August 19, Mr. Cuong (1982), Permanent Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors and also the legal representative of Mr. Tuan.

With the price of 19,900 VND/share at the end of the session on November 19, the total number of shares that Mr. Cuong inherited is estimated to be worth about 218 billion VND.

After the transaction, Mr. Cuong increased his holding ratio from nearly 62 million shares (10.16%) to more than 72.96 million shares, equivalent to 11.96% of charter capital.

In addition, Mr. Cuong will inherit the remaining 9.75 million shares as previously announced, expected between November 22 and December 21. After this second inheritance transaction, Mr. Cuong will increase his holding ratio to more than 82.7 million shares, equivalent to 13.56%.

The first time Mr. Cuong inherited more than 20.75 million shares from his late father was on October 16. At that time, DIG shares reached 20,000 VND/share, equivalent to the value of the shares Mr. Cuong inherited being more than 415 billion VND.

In mid-September, Ms. Le Thi Ha Thanh (Mr. Tuan’s wife) inherited more than 20.75 million shares from Mr. Tuan and increased her ownership ratio from 0% to 3.4%. At that time, these shares were worth about 450 billion VND.

Mr. Nguyen Thien Tuan has been considered the "soul" of DIC Corp for many years and is the founder of a famous real estate group, owning large land funds from North to South. The stock attracts special attention from investors but fluctuates very strongly.

In the first 9 months of the year, DIG reported revenue of more than VND 1,082 billion and after-tax profit of VND 15.2 billion.
