According to the report of Ba Dinh Primary School sent to the Department of Education and Training (GD&DT) of Bim Son town: At 9:00 a.m. on Friday, October 11, 2024, parent T.D.H residing in Quarter 4, Ba Dinh Ward, Bim Son Town, father of TPN, a student of class 1B, reported to the school about the incident in which teacher Vo Thi T., the homeroom teacher of class 1B of the school, beat student TPN, leaving scratches and bruises on her back.
The parents showed the principal the results of the clinical examination, ultrasound, and X-ray of Bim Son Town General Hospital on the morning of October 11, 2024 and saw the actual injury status of TPN. At the same time, together with the principal, they reviewed the camera footage of the math class on Thursday afternoon from 2:25 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on October 10, 2024.

Immediately after receiving the report from the parents, the principal consulted with the board of directors and invited teacher Vo Thi T. to report the incident. Teacher Vo Thi T. reported that TPN brought toys from home to school to play with during Math class. The teacher could not control herself and twisted her ear and patted the child's back and head.

At the meeting, teacher Vo Thi T. seriously self-criticized, realized that her behavior was a serious violation of teacher ethics and asked to accept all forms of discipline from all levels and take responsibility for the student's family.
At 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2024, the Board of Directors worked with 10 parents representing 40 parents of class 1B to inform them of the situation, apologize to the parents of the class, and replace the new homeroom teacher. From Monday, October 14, 2024, the school has allowed TPN students to change classes according to their families' wishes.
On the afternoon of October 16, Thanh Hoa Newspaper reporters had a meeting with Ba Dinh Primary School. Principal Vo Dao Hoa said: Ms. Vo Thi T. is a university-level teacher and has many years of experience teaching grade 1. Currently, Ms. T. is on the payroll. During her teaching career, she has a progressive spirit and always wants her students to improve. However, this may also be the reason why she was impatient and acted "out of line". After the incident, Ms. Vo Thi T. was very remorseful and asked to take full responsibility as well as the disciplinary action of the competent authorities.
"Ms. T's actions violated teachers' regulations, infringed on students' psychology and health, and affected the teachers' honor," Ms. Vo Dao Hoa added.

But just one day later, the Parents' Association sent a document with full signatures of parents in the class asking for her to continue to be the homeroom teacher and teach students.
Mr. T.D.H, TPN's father, said: Currently, N.'s health and mental state have stabilized and he has returned to school since Monday (October 14). Through this unfortunate incident, the family also hopes that the authorities will take appropriate measures to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future.

Currently, the Town Police have assigned the Ba Dinh Ward Police to inspect and verify. After receiving the results of the inspection and verification from the police agency, the Department will advise the town leaders to resolve the matter.
“The Department of Education and Training of Bim Son town has also reminded and disciplined the entire sector to strictly comply with school regulations and teacher ethics. After receiving the conclusion from the police and the town, the Department will notify the entire sector,” Mr. Tien added.
