(Dan Tri) - On January 14, Dan Tri newspaper organized a visit and presented 50 Tet gifts to policy families and meritorious people in Cam Giang and Kim Thanh districts, Hai Duong province.

On the morning of January 14, in Cam Giang district, Dan Tri newspaper represented kind readers to present 20 gifts to 20 families of meritorious people. Each gift included 1 million VND in cash, 1 box of Tet jam and 20 boxes of vitamins.

According to the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Dan Tri newspaper, through many ups and downs of history, our nation has gained independence and freedom as it is today thanks to the great sacrifices of many generations. Among them, there are people who have spent their youth, even their whole lives, fighting to protect the Fatherland, contributing to the cause of national liberation.
Therefore, Dan Tri newspaper is always aware of its responsibility in showing gratitude and honoring those who have contributed to the revolution.
"You are people who have contributed to the revolution and are also living historical witnesses, the pride of the country," journalist Nguyen Xuan Toan affirmed.
The Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Dan Tri newspaper wishes to make a small contribution to health care and improving the material and spiritual life of families of those who have contributed to the country.

Attending the program, National Assembly Delegate Nguyen Ngoc Son asked about the health and wished a happy new year to policy beneficiaries and families of meritorious people. Mr. Son expressed his wish that those with meritorious people always live happily, healthily and usefully, and that families of meritorious people continue to promote revolutionary traditions, contributing to the development of their homeland.

Each gift included 1 million VND in cash, 1 box of Tet jam and 20 boxes of vitamins.

The delegation visited the family of People's Armed Forces Hero Nguyen Van Thoa (born in 1920, in Kien Le village, Dai Duc commune, Kim Thanh district), who was known as the "mine king" of Route 5 when he used only 1 mine to destroy a train, killing more than 1,000 European and African soldiers.
