Special art program "Khanh Hoa - Entering a new era"

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Khanh Hoa Province Liberation Day (April 2, 1975 - April 2, 2025), on the evening of April 2, at April 2 Square (Nha Trang City), a special art program with the theme "Khanh Hoa - Entering a new era" will take place. The program is elaborately scripted, with the participation of a large number of singers and actors, including famous faces who are loved by the audience, promising to bring the audience a meaningful and colorful time of enjoyment.

The 50th anniversary of Khanh Hoa Province Liberation Day and the 50th anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) is an important event for the country and the province. On this occasion, the province organized many commemorative activities, including the special art program "Khanh Hoa - Entering the New Era". The program aims to commemorate the great contributions of previous generations who made the cause of liberation and construction of Khanh Hoa province; demonstrating the spirit of solidarity among all classes of people, organizations and businesses in the province. Implementing the direction of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has invested in developing a script for a special art program on this occasion.

The program has the professional advice of a number of domestic scientists; the staging is attended by famous artists from Ho Chi Minh City. The number of singers and actors mobilized to participate in the program is up to 600 people, including famous singers and artists such as: Tung Duong; Vu Thang Loi; Thuy Duong, Thanh Tai; Thanh Quy, Thanh Hang, Trong Thuong, Thien An... In addition, the program also has the participation of singers and actors from Hai Dang Song and Dance Troupe, the Provincial Traditional Arts Theater, a number of dance troupes from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and children from art clubs in the province; The extras are students from the University of Information and Communications, the Air Force Officer School, the Naval Academy, etc. “In addition to the time allocated for the traditional approach, the art program will have innovations in content and form to promote and introduce to the audience the image of a modern, dynamic Khanh Hoa province, always welcoming friends and tourists with open arms. Singer Tung Duong will reunite with Nha Trang audiences in a special art program celebrating the 50th anniversary of Khanh Hoa Province Liberation Day.

The art program "Khanh Hoa - Entering the new era" consists of 3 chapters: Khanh Hoa - 50 years of victory songs; Khanh Hoa - Land of sublimated cultural heritage; Khanh Hoa - City of the future. In which, chapter 1 is a grand combination of singing and dancing scenes with the performances: "Liberated Nha Trang", "Marching to Saigon", "The country is full of joy" , depicting the image of the army and people enthusiastically liberating Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa, joining the wave of attack to liberate the South, unifying the country. Chapter 2 will bring to the audience images of the cultural characteristics and people of Khanh Hoa, gentle, loyal, and affectionate. After 50 years since liberation and nearly 40 years of implementing the renovation policy, Khanh Hoa province has overcome all difficulties and challenges, exploiting its potential and advantages for rapid and sustainable socio-economic development. Through the performances: "Nha Trang, autumn returns", "Mien Trung misses Uncle Ho", "Noi dao xa", "Yen ca", "Mua bay co thap co", "Oh! the Dinh river", "Dien Khanh a song", "Dan oi! sing with me" will bring to the audience emotions about the homeland, the country and Uncle Ho with lyrical and passionate inspiration.

Chapter 3 of the program will include the performances: "Bright Nha Trang", "Reaching the Dawn", "Khanh Hoa on a New Day", which are harmonized and arranged in a lively and youthful manner, expressing the aspirations of Khanh Hoa province in the new era - the era of the Vietnamese people's rise. "Currently, we have conducted training for each group of singers and actors. On March 28, all singers and actors will gather to practice on the program's stage. The program's stage will be installed in front of the Provincial Convention Center (46 Tran Phu, Nha Trang City) with a design that reflects the historical, cultural and revolutionary characteristics of Khanh Hoa. The singers and actors of the troupe are all striving to complete the meaningful art program well, bringing the audience quality performances", said Mr. Nguyen Ai Quoc - Head of Hai Dang Song and Dance Troupe.

The special art program will be broadcast live on Khanh Hoa Radio and Television, and rebroadcast on many local television stations in the country. The program also includes a commemorative ceremony with a number of activities to review history, pay tribute to the contributions of previous generations and determine actions in the future. In particular, there will be a low-altitude fireworks display taking place twice at the end of chapter 1 and the end of the program.
