The 9th extraordinary session of the 15th National Assembly reviewed and approved 4 laws and 5 resolutions related to the reorganization of the state apparatus and reviewed and approved 3 other legal resolutions to promote the country's socio-economic development and specific, special, urgent and necessary mechanisms and policies for a number of important projects and works. Immediately after the end of the session, the Government and the Prime Minister assigned the ministries to draft plans to implement the laws and resolutions and submit them to the Prime Minister for promulgation.
Up to now, there has been 1 plan to implement the Law on Government Organization submitted to the Prime Minister for consideration and promulgation; 2 plans to implement the Law on Local Government Organization and the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents are being revised and completed according to comments from ministries, branches and localities to submit to the Prime Minister.
The conference also heard Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh brief on the results of institutional improvement on the organizational structure to implement the arrangement and streamlining of the organizational structure. Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long presented the Government's Summary Report on the implementation of laws and resolutions passed by the 15th National Assembly at the 9th Extraordinary Session.
In addition, leaders of ministries and central agencies presented thematic reports: New points and key contents of the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Organization of the National Assembly and the arrangement and organization of National Assembly agencies; new points and key contents of the Law on Organization of the Government, the Law on Organization of Local Government and the organizational structure and number of Government members for the 15th National Assembly term.
At the same time, it also presents new points and key contents of the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents and the Resolution on handling a number of issues related to the arrangement of the state apparatus, the preparation of resources for implementation; new points and key contents of the National Assembly's Resolution on piloting a number of policies to remove obstacles in science, technology and innovation activities, and the preparation for implementation.
