After a year of exceeding the set plan, Vietcap Securities sets ambitious goals for 2025.

The Board of Directors of Vietcap Securities JSC (VCI - H0SE) has just approved the 2025 business plan submitted by the Board of Directors. Accordingly, the expected revenue in 2025 is VND 4,325 billion, an increase of more than 15%. The expected cost is only 9%. Therefore, according to the plan, the target pre-tax profit is VND 1,420 billion, an increase of 30% compared to the previous year.
According to the above plan, the company can record a record high revenue in its operating history. At the same time, this is also the highest profit figure in 4 years and the second highest in its operating history, only after the profit achieved in 2021.
Previously, Vietcap Securities' business results improved in 2024, far exceeding the set target. The company recorded operating revenue of VND 3,695 billion, up 49.46% over the previous year; pre-tax and after-tax profits reached over VND 1,089 billion and VND 910.7 billion, respectively, up over 91% and 85.1% over the previous year. Compared to the set plan of VND 2,511 billion in revenue and VND 700 billion in pre-tax profit, last year, Vietcap Securities completed 47.2% and 55.57% of the set targets.
In February, the company completed the second cash dividend payment of 2024 at a rate of 2.5%, equivalent to shareholders owning 1 share receiving 250 VND. With more than 718 million shares in circulation, Vietcap Securities will have to spend about 180 billion VND to pay dividends to existing shareholders. Previously, in August 2024, the Company paid a cash dividend at a rate of 4%. Thereby, the total dividend payment in 2024 of Vietcap Securities through 2 payments is 6.5%. According to the plan at the 2024 annual general meeting of shareholders, the target dividend rate is 5-10%.
In addition to cash dividends, in mid-September 2024, Vietcap Securities closed the list of shareholders to receive bonus shares at a ratio of 10:3. Vietcap Securities increased its charter capital from VND 4,419 billion to VND 5,744.7 billion and these shares were traded in mid-October 2024. By November 2024, the company continued to issue 143.63 million individual shares with an average selling price of VND 28,000/share, the total amount of money raised from the offering was more than VND 4,021 billion. Currently, the volume of listed VCI securities is nearly 719 million shares. The current market capitalization is approximately VND 27,970 billion.
