On the afternoon of February 27, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee received Mr. Kim Hyun Kwan - General Director of HD Hyundai Mipo Company (Parent company of HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.) headquartered in Ulsan City (Korea).

At the meeting, Mr. Kim Hyun Kwan expressed his appreciation for the support of Khanh Hoa provincial leaders for HD Hyundai Mipo Company during the past time. In particular, the connection and long-term relationship between Khanh Hoa province and Ulsan city have created many favorable conditions for the company in long-term production and business activities. The company wants to expand its production scale in Khanh Hoa to increase the competitiveness of Hyundai shipbuilding. Hyundai Mipo considers HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. a typical example of success and will focus on investment in the coming time to help the company develop further.

Speaking at the reception, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan thanked the special affection that HD Hyundai Mipo Company in general and HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. in particular have for Khanh Hoa. Hyundai's presence in the province has contributed to the local development, especially in creating jobs and improving the lives of local workers. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan hopes that HD Hyundai Mipo Company will continue to develop further. Regarding the proposal to expand the factory of HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., the provincial leaders have acknowledged and included it in the key tasks in 2025 and will always create favorable conditions for the company in production and business in the province.
