President decides on gift levels for meritorious people on the occasion of Tet At Ty

(Dan Tri) - Gifts to honor people with revolutionary contributions on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025 will remain the same as in 2024, with two levels of 600,000 VND and 300,000 VND...

President Luong Cuong signed Decision No. 1301/QD-CTN on giving gifts to people with revolutionary contributions on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.

According to the President's decision, the subjects and gifts of gratitude to people with meritorious services remain the same as in 2024, including two levels of 600,000 VND and 300,000 VND.

Specifically, the gift of 600,000 VND/gift is for people with revolutionary contributions who are in groups receiving monthly preferential allowances, including: People who participated in revolutionary activities before January 1, 1945 to the August Revolution of 1945; Vietnamese heroic mothers; heroes of the people's armed forces, heroes of labor during the resistance war; war invalids, people enjoying policies like war invalids, war invalids of type B, sick soldiers with a disability of 81% or more.

Resistance fighters infected with toxic chemicals with a body injury rate of 81% or more; people who have contributed to the revolution; relatives of martyrs receiving death benefits; relatives of 2 or more martyrs receiving death benefits will also receive a gift of 600,000 VND.

The gift of 300,000 VND/gift is given to people with revolutionary contributions who are in groups receiving monthly preferential allowances, including: War invalids, people enjoying policies like war invalids, war invalids of type B, sick soldiers with a body injury rate of 80% or less; war invalids receiving a labor loss regime; resistance fighters infected with toxic chemicals with a body injury rate of 80% or less.

The gift of 300,000 VND is also given to those who participated in the revolution, resistance war, national defense, and international duty but were imprisoned or exiled by the enemy; those who helped the revolution; representatives of martyrs' relatives; and those who worship martyrs (in case the martyrs have no relatives).

During the Lunar New Year 2025, the total budget for this meaningful activity is more than 500 billion VND. This budget has been allocated in the 2025 State budget.
